Indeed. Speculating about US attacking a country randomly would be a more productive and concrete mental exercise.

Changi naval base is the biggest US base in SE Asia. Initially there is no US presence in Singapore.

It could be used as a supply base to attack China. If that happens the entire base could be throw back to stone age by Chinese missile.

This base is creating lots of problems for Singapore, especially the motivation for China to build Kra canal, Myanmar China highway, Cross Malaysia railway, to bypass Straits of Singapore.

I suggest Singapore quickly invite China navy to be Changi naval base tenant, side by side with US. So that China can be held hostage not to attack Singapore.

We are not interested to invade any country, let alone Australia which has quite powerful Airforce and will be backed by USA and NATO.

Why need to cross the strait when even mighty India and US don't recognized the independent of Taiwan?
When China PLA is strong, we can easily roll into Hong Kong but we didnt and waited. So what is the issue?
