My view, either a disgruntled employee or some sort of setup considering the lightening turn around of 15 mins for a job application.

I'd go for an orchestrated event. Be rest assured when the truth comes out, the media will drop the story like a hot potato.

Company is not going to be in any real trouble. They have minority employees, thus the policy of not hiring them is a blatant falsehood.

This is not some charity, its business. Your point assumes there are enough qualified Muslims.

Besides, there are no laws that fix quotas based on religion.

There is no discrimination. The point about this company not hiring Muslims is a blatant lie considering they have such employees on their payroll.

Your point about some sort of proportionate representation is not mandated by law. Neither is there anything to show that there are enough qualified people that meet the companies requirements.

If someone can establish a pattern of qualified Muslims being turned away, that would be a different story, as of this moment, nothing of that sort exists or is available in the public domain.

In fact, the comically fast 15 min response suggests some orchestration or underhanded play.

Simple, the Bangladeshi's only recently came to the UK in the late 70s. The first generation primarily came from the villages and lacked any formal education, so they did basic jobs or started small businesses like restaurants and take aways.

If you read recent data you will know that the recent generation are no different then the rest of the population of the UK, like me.

Nah, the HR guy was just being honest, have a look at how many employes the company has (over 6000) only 71 out of over 6000 are Muslims. The UK is treating me very well thanks for your concern....got a fav job, 2 houses and 1 docklands flat.
