If they wanted to keep Bengali as lingua franca in East Pakistan, you could have let them keep it. You could have played the Indians at their game but didn't....

Hindi was never imposed as language in Indian states - in South India they won't even SPEAK Hindi to this day.

So you prove my point then? Bangali was more important to you guys than unity because you value your Bangali identity more.

And secondly it was you Bangalis who made a big fuss about language. The Punjabis, Sindhis, Pashtuns and rest of Pakistan did not mind speaking a common language that would unify the country whilst also keeping their native languages. Apparently that was too much to ask from you guys.

You don't have a grasp of anything called history. Learning alternate and cooked up history produces products like you.

North Indians tried to impose Hindi on South Indians thrice. Starting from 1938, 1960-68, 1986 and 2014.

After Congress tried to impose Hindi in state institutions, protests started in Tamil Nadu that led to violence. Nehru backtracked and decided to amend the constitution or the Language Act 1963 which was re-amended again in 1968 as Tamil were'nt satisfied and wanted any future effort to impose hindi on them blocked

Unlike Bangladeshis, Tamilians don't need to celebrate language day, starting language day or revere foreign personality like Tagore .
