KARACHI – A Gwadar-bound flight PK-503 of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Friday faced delay after it was stopped on the runway at Karachi airport following an alert regarding the possible danger.

According to the media reports, the pilot informed the airport authorities about a possible danger after he noticed something suspicious inside the plane when it was on taxiway.

After the alert, commandos of Airport Security Force (ASF) surrounded the plane in order to prevent any mishap. Fire tenders of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) also reached the site.

As the plane was searched, the authorities found a cat in the cockpit of the plane. The flight will be allowed to take off after proper clearance, authorities said.

It is yet to be known how an animal made his way inside the plane
