Strictly for RDB fans!

@Nilgiri any idea what the Tamil part of this song says:p:

LOL. Basically when they are hungry (and dont want to go home because of wifey etc), go for some chicken Kothu (with masi sambal)...2 bowls of it. They get personalised service from the cook (anything you want, we give to you by hand!).

Lots of rhyming and stuff of course that makes it flow in Tamil in special way hehe.

Anyone for blues?

And if you want to go full hipster on the blues and listen to some real oldies, there are always guys like Blind Lemon Jefferson and Charley Patton.

Two fantastic instrumental Nordic Folk songs by Antti Martikainen.

Antti Martikainen - To Valhalla!

Antti Martikainen - Faraway

I've really gotten in to a lot of folk music lately for the first time, mostly Nordic and Celtic. I'd create a separate thread just to spam all my latest folk discoveries.

We've already got a classic music thread, why not one for the Folk?

Now if we can only get rid of the hideous vocals :P

Grrr. We feed people to the Draug for such language:angry:.

How's this then?

George Kollias (Nile's drummer) is a really good technical drummer, but dang if he doesn't use the same fills to much:unsure:.

Have mercy on my ignorant soul o Queen of Norge! :D

Quite a treat to hear/watch. Great pace variation without overdoing it. Its frankly amazing how they ride on their muscle memory so much. The only thing hands on that I got really good at is lathe machining (one point in my career I had to churn out parts for test rigs non stop for a year almost)...to the point where I could take off exact fractions of a c-hair without pausing to coordinate (like when I was a noob and even mid level). Skill has somewhat atrophied now I bet (no longer so rank and file)...but I do appreciate better what muscle memory conditioning is capable of....seeing the prime proponents of it all across human endeavour.

I remember a few of his vids when youtube was a new thing and 140p was the best quality lol....phenomenal beat speeds he achieved.
