@jamahir , @Hell hound , @Mentee , @Zibago ... aaj mood barra aashiqaana hy... and simultaneously sad...
Then let me add to your aashiqana plus sad mood :
"Zihaale-masti mukun baranjish"
Especially the lines :
Woh aake pehlu mey aise baithe
Ke shaam rangeen ho gayi hai
Zara zara si khili tabiyat
Zara si ghamgeen ho gayi hai
The herone, Sneha Ullal, is so very like Aishwarya Rai, down to the eyes and the ancestry from Mangalore ( from the father's side ). Word has it that Salman cast Sneha in this role to make Aishwarya jealous.
Shair ko naa dhondy wo wajd me gum hy..
Do you mean "wajid" ??
hahaha goodd jobb mate
Now you are talking my language! Vangelis was a master of his art! I love the heavy jazz-synth cityscape themes too and the great outro theme at the end too. I actually once was in a (quieter) downtown tokyo bar on a rainy evening with a friend...with a good view of the surrounding streetscape...sipping a drink... and they just happened to be playing some of the Vangelis Bladerunner themes...it was quite a nice moment...Tokyo to me is the most "Bladerunner" style of city out there right now imo.
That said, the lighter, floatier yet delectable Tears in rain theme is my absolute favourite from the movie though:
I've.... seen things you people wouldn't believe.... attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.
All those.... moments... will be lost in time, like tears...in...rain.
Rutger Hauer's best cinematic moment too! Its crazy he came up spontaneously with the ending (which in a way really defines the whole movie)..and they rolled with it because it was so darn good! I know somewhere up there P.K Dick was smiling in approval...
@VCheng @Joe Shearer @Jungibaaz @Avicenna @Path-Finder @Zibago @Hell hound @Mage
1 2 3 into the 4 snoop doggy dog and dr dre is at the door,
ready to make an entrance so back on up
better than the s#it rap music these days.
interesting fact I learned they used the props from the movie "Escape from New York" to show the city in blade runner.
Totally agree! I'm a fan of old Skool rap and hip hop.
Especially a lot of 80s stuff like Eric B & Rakim and Grandmaster Flash.

Are we mature enough to play God?
Will we ever be so?
