@XTREME, I consider it a crime that no one has yet added anything to this excellent thread I might add.

If I may divert the original intention of this thread only if for a moment, my Annual tuition fees including all the administartion fees, surchages comes down to $5400. I am doing a four year management course in supply chain management/marketing.

One dimension of the total cost would be non-financial. That is what are you doing in University? what is your aim and ambition?

For me, university serves as an oasis of higher learning, cossetted from real life concerns while thinking about what I really want to do. but I am like many others. Drifters.

If you have the drive, the ambition, the talent and capacity for hard work, a lack of tertiary education may not be that much of a hindrance.

This chart is not useful at all. The figures are wrong. Annual tuition alone for US private university is about $50,000. US education is notoriously expensive, unless you attend public institution.
