Weeping Realities-AntiPorn

How does "slaves" and "free will" go together? Are there individuals who are exercising their "free will" and opting to be "sex slaves"??

If I understand correct, "free will" implies not following the saying of imaginary friend in the sky (GOD).

i.e. people who give in to the carnal desires of flesh and don't listen to what is preached in their respective "Holy books".

That's certainly a limited understanding of "free will" - freedom to choose is not limited to rejecting religion -- the issue here is not accepting or rejecting religion, nor is it "free will", rather coersion, helplessness and the enslaving of individuals, the objectification, the making of individuals into a commodity.

That was my understanding of free-will. Only the original poster would know what he/she meant by usage of that phrase.

But it seems like that they have crawled back into the night after starting the thread.

Honestly I dont think men giving in to their primal desires has anything to do with religion or lack there of.

All iam going to say is legalize weeeeeeed

I say legalize everything, if you are stupid enough to use hardcore drugs then its your choice, but don't expect the insurance to pay for rehab.

You, your family and your loved ones should pay the price. Simple as that.

Grow up and be responsible for the decisions you make.

NForce,

Nice to see a reply from you. If by "education" you mean not questioning the status quo and accepting what you have been told to, then I am afraid am truly uneducated and you are right.

Answer the following questions please, these are very simple yes or no questions

1) Do you believe Govt needs to dictate each and every aspect of your life?

2) Do you think you are able to decide on yourself what is good or bad for yourself?

3) Are you capable of taking decision as to what substances to use and what not and are responsible enough to face the consequences?

If you answered NO to any of the above questions, then my friend, I understand why do you want to look to govt to keep you away from the menace of "drugs"

BTW, while we are on topic, name one country that has won the "war on drugs"?

Quite interesting indeed.I have seen many guys doing drugs back in my college.I am not sure even they will be able to put up such a support for drugs.
I dont believe that the govt. should dictate each and every aspect of life. But the govt. is not an alien body imposed upon you.It is made for the people, and in most of the parts of World,by the people too.Govt is responsible for maintaining the fabric of a civilized society.

I can decide whats best for me,but many people don't.There are many people out there who simply get lost in drugs. It is for those people we need to have strong anti-drug policies.A rapist may think its his holy job to rape somebody,a murderer may think it is his duty to murder but these are heinous crimes indeed, just like selling drugs. It is that drug salesman who ruins the life of many by selling it.Those who are taking it,are not only endangering themselves, but also putting their family in jeopardy and promoting it in the same time.It is the govt. policies and the police that we look forward to when it comes to curbing these social evils.

Ask your third question to a drug addict and you may be amazed to hear his answer.

There are very few countries like Saudi Arabia which has been successful in stopping drug trafficking ,but again, thats not the point at all.As a matter of fact, this is the most hilarious part of your argument."If you cannot stop it,then legalize it".Is this what you mean???Following this logic,we should legalize murder as well isnt it???

Enough talk about 'free will'.Let me know --

1.what are the good effects of using drugs,on an individual as well as a society???The question is not why should not we legalize it.The question is why should we legalize it.

2.Are you a drug addict yourself???Do you have a past history of drug abuse??If 'YES',then I can very well understand why you want drugs to be legalized. If 'NO',then it is pretty hypocritical on your part to want others to use drugs while you yourself refrain from it.

'Free-will' yes its a problem when you understand it in the context of the given documentaries. Religion/noReligion promotes free-will & is a good act but to some extent!!

The trafficked girls if you have but noticed are lured by traffickers via lies & some sort of greedy maneuvers. Teen girls as infants dont know what s cooking in others minds & without the consent of their parents & relatives (I hate free-will here) go with those strangers & never to come back home.

You tell me isn't this free-will that you tell your parents that I got 18 & US law dictates that I am free to use my will & I want to be a pornstar!!!

Tell me what you feel if you put urself as her/his father/mother

I agree with coltsfan.

If booze is legalized, then there is no reason on earth that cannabis cannot.

If anything, cannabis is a way safer drug than alcohol ..... to the individual as well as to society.

Keeping cannabis illegal has nothing to do with caring for society. It is a huge racket which lines the pockets of many ..... especially those who legislate.

Wake up and smell the ganja.

Cheers, Doc

You have got some very valid points in your posts. But question is who should decide what is best for you? Government or you should do it by yourself? Do you think wine is best for you?. I would say wine is not best for me but some peoples there will argue with me that wine give them best pleasure which they cannot get from any other source. What about smoking? Peoples know smoking could harms health but still government sell tobacco and peoples are willing to pay for it. Again we know gambling could hurt families but its legal.. Same could be said about sex without protection, Prostitution and abortion. Peoples will criticise government if they would restrict the freedom of peoples in case of countries like Saudia Arabia. Peoples will also criticise those government which give more personal freedom to its peoples to do something which might bring negative consequences for them in case of countries like holland

India is quite aware of the situation and there are many NGO's working for human rights

why was pakistan not mentioned in first post?

HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE OF PAKISTAN

Using and other words for India is not going to solve your problems pakistanis...
we have at least listed all our problems and we are working to solve those problems..but what about you??
It does not look like you guys have even listed your problems..

Thats the reason we have Govts , law , courts --- to impose the will of the people at large , the society at large . On a topic such as legalization of say - gambling , there may be a few proponents but the majority of general society ( depends on the country and culture of the place in question ) will univocally move to stop such acts and try to eliminate it from society .

The people criticizing the Govt of say a country like say India or BD or Pakistan of being restrictive, must be in the minority . Otherwise if the majority of the populace had a "liberal" attitude towards that particular issue ... Govt policy would have been changed .

Eg . Supreme court of India decriminalizing Gay activities etc . means that the general people are more accepting of Gays and encourage them to integrate fully with society .

The ones who protested, the radicals and hardline were clearly in the minority .

So a man , as a human being cant just think of himself while giving in to his desires , he must consider the acceptance of society too and when he cannot /will not do it , he should be removed and segregated from society A.K.A jailed - by the bodies appointed by society A.K.A Govt , Police , authorities .
