Wealthy Chinese leave the country

Lol china is not losing anything, just a single thing - money

The rich from china moved to the west, the stuff that they buy will all stimulate a cash flow. Buying a house will involve someone selling their house for money, money that they will use to buy another house and/or car or anything. Then the rich Chinese will need to hire someone to fix the house and pay taxes and stamp duty, which the government will then use for something else.

Whatever they buy in the west will in itself generate their own cash flow sequent and this is what Chinese government is losing, their own economy. Not to mention buying properties I self is a form of investment so the more rich people left china, they will lose more money that way

Getting foreign money to buy houses and using that money to consume stuff made overseas...why does this sound so familiar? Oh that's right, it's called a housing bubble, like the one from 2008.

You do know that China is currently having a lot of problems with too much dead money not invested productively but used to speculate and bid up assets from houses to wine.

They're getting money faster than they can find good uses for them, and all those money ends up either fueling bubbles, or sitting unused in China's ridiculously large reserve.

Eventually that money has to be spent on investing into REAL production in order for a country to truly benefit.

I am not seeing any wealthy Chinese dismantling their businesses in China and transferring them here to Canada. I do see them paying 3x what normal people pay for houses and locals complaining that housing is getting ridiculously unaffordable to them.

right to you the 50 cent gang everything quoted by other chinese is gossip. China is the land of paradise and nothing any article quotes in any negative light is ever true~!okay then

You know seeing your posts is like talking to any other idiot that I know who don't like to think.

China's rich are becoming just as rich as their western counter parts, but the country China has not matched the US in prestige or welfare, or development level. The tax on luxury goods is also incredibly high. A 500,000 Lambo will cost more than double in China for example.

China is catching up fast, pollution reduction, already put into action, infrastructure are being built like nobody's business, welfare are being raised, and freedom are being extended. Post secondary education are getting better and better, justice system is getting reformed, economy is getting reformed.

It is infinitely more attractive to stay where you are then move as it is difficult if not impossible to make as much money when you move and there is the cultural, race, and other issue that arises when moving.

America had a period as well where the rich would leave and the poor from Europe would arrive. All developing countries go through this, it's not like other democratic developing countries are not having this.

But knowing you, your only response will be I'm part of the 50 cent army and if it suits you the same kind "Evidence" that terrorists uses to justify their agenda. If China persecuting a criminal equals crime against humanity then 9/11 was the right move and those people deserve to die.

lol, i don’t know what wealthy Chinese do in Canada, maybe they only buy house in Canada and went back to China, i don’t know, but in both US and australia, they reinvest in other thing too. Range from opening their shop, trades or even buying up shopping mall

problem is, they did not simply just buy house, indeed if they only buying up house and do nothing else (those who bought house and move back to China) those people do exist, but they are not particular rich.

those whho stay had to put in theirown effort to get by living in the west, a good businesman know how to invest, and when theymove to some place else they would also be reinvesting inblocal market, heck, living in one place is alreat investing in local economy, as you have to both earn and spend money when you are living. All in a while they pay tax to contributing to local government

the point is, they dont need to dismental their business in China and move it West, many rich Chinese i know kep their money making factory in China and come to US and Australia to open their new shop, either selling the product they make in China or any other business oppuntities, mostly real estate related, I mean why fix something that aint broke? There are no law stating that you can’t invest inbsome place else if you already had stuff in China

The middle income countries have the most people to emigrate. The poor cannot afford to emigrate while people in the developed countries have no reason to emigrate. People in middle income countries have the means to emigrate but also want to enjoy higher quality of life in developed countries. Nothing wrong with that.

In fact, South Korea has substantial immigrants in the U.S., heck, they have like 50% of Chinese immigrants annually, while they only have like 1/30 of Chinese population.

South Koreans are also the largest immigrants in China, esp. in Beijing. One quarter of Beijing is completely dominated by South Koreans. Yes, South Koreans really enjoying choking smog in Beijing.

Nobody really cares if some wealthy Chinese leave China. They still invest in China. They just want free welfares in semi socialist countries.

Lol, every Chinese I know here in Canada that isn't from Mainland China (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.) say the same thing. Same as the middle class Chinese that are actually working and learning here. Some of them even say that those wealthy Chinese are just getting corrupt money out while they have the chance. :o:

Since I'm not Chinese I don't know if the corruption allegation is true or not.
