ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while briefing the media after the national security meeting in Islamabad today said we would not accept Indian hegemony in the region.

He said the meeting discussed all aspects but could not reckon the reason of India’s unprovoked firing and that these adventures were utterly unreasonable on the occasion when Pakistan was felicitating Eid.

Interior minister said Pakistan believes in peace and all our policies speak for the same cause.

PM Nawaz tried to promulgate peace, setting old disputes aside but that no way means we would accept any hostility from across the border, he added.

He said the attacks are the massacre of peace and our patience must not be confused with weakness; we shall now be giving befitting response to any aggression enticing animosity.

Chaudhry Nisar pronounced we are not the perpetrators of offence; if enticed Pakistan army is capable enough to respond befittingly.

He stated all solution-demanding issues need to be given due consideration. Government shall write a letter to United Nations Organization (UNO) as it’s their responsibility to maintain peace in the region according to the agreements.

He further expressed the intention to call upon ambassadors of all significant countries and brief them about the state of affairs.

Extending an offer to probe the situation he said, Pakistan has nothing to hide; it therefore is ever ready to give authority to a third party or UN observer group to conduct investigation in order to fetch the ones responsible.

In addition to the attacks, Indian representatives’ have been spiting fire that has worsened the situation, he added.

Nisar said flag meeting among the military directorates is expected to meet on Tuesday if sanity prevails.

So FInalllllyyyyyyyy
it has nothing to do with kashmir, siachen etc etc...all they want is to oppose India's Peaceful Rise.

Hegemony could refer to military dominance and to their claims of unprovoked firing. I agree with the Interior Minister of Pakistan. If Pakistan and India can't behave at their borders then perhaps it is time for a UN observer group to investigate who is responsible for the nuisance being caused. Two childish nations who will always require a third party to sort out their issues

Chinese won't understand that :p:

Really?

When was the last time we had any cross-border bloodshed with one of our neighbors? Around 30 years ago.

You guys kill each others soldiers, civilians, kids, cattle traders, on a regular basis along your borders with both Pakistan and Bangladesh. Hell it was only a few months back when several soldiers were beheaded on your borders, and their bodies mutilated.

In our territorial disputes in the South China Sea, the worst thing that happens is someone gets sprayed with a water cannon.

Where you guys use bullets and artillery shells (and sometimes machetes), we use water cannons.

Well yeah, isn't that a lot more peaceful than using artillery shells on civilian villages across the LOC?

According to the Pakistani government, 20 of their civilians have been killed?

Tents and water cannons can't be compared to that, since no one actually dies in our territorial disputes with our neighbors.

Just yesterday you killed around 20 civilians in Pakistan, by shelling civilian villages?

We do not have killings with Dharmic countries bordering us too. The Islamic countries though are different and lack of respect is a legacy we carry. Majority of your neighbors are Dharmic and hence your behavior too reflects that.

Thank you, this is what we want from you.

A true politicians don't negotiate with their true national interests but they are realists who construct the will of a nation on realism not confrontation or jingoism. You have no such qualities Mr. Nissar. I hope one day you will see the elephant in the room.

Pakistanis think in the age of live satellite imaging, credible humint, and many other means which we are sharing with our friends they will be able to mislead rest of the world about who is an aggressor, read infiltration. Wake up Pakistani politicians, people are more clever and connected around you. Snap near your ears, before your bluff is called out big time. Don't worry about public perceptions, your bravado civilians with long beards are good for nothing, they will live with their egos hurt.

True, most of East and Southeast Asia have cultures that are strongly influenced by Buddhism.

But I'm not sure that is a factor regarding the India-Pakistan border clashes. We get along well with Pakistan for one thing.

Not entirely true; Sri Lanka is a dharmic country....the Fishermen, the Tamils, the LTTE etc. happened with them and Bangladesh is after all a country created by them...if they get pissssed occasionally then something must be wrong !

Nepal and Bhuttan are quasi-protectorates of India....what are they going to do ? :what:

Thats only because of my undying love for Vicky Zhao !

Otherwise ever since you prevented me from learning Wing Chun Boxing, we're Brothers no more ! :nono:

P.S Are you a Buddhist ? :o:

You can't be one.....the guys at Shaolin kicked you out for being far too chubby !

P.P.S Buddha was a great....great man and he enjoys my utmost respect !
