Altaf urges PM to impose martial law in Sindh
LONDON- Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, to impose martial law in Sindh for the safety of life and property of people.

He said the Sindh government has failed in maintaining peace in the city, as killing of innocent people in Karachi was on the rise. He demanded of the prime minister to issue arm licenses to citizens, if martial law couldn’t be enforced. Altaf Hussain said that unpopular steps became necessary for the protection of people.

He's only concerned about one city, and is demanding marshal law at whole province? MQM only has presence in Karachi, and its evident that they can't think beyond Karachi.

The problem is that the job creation and industrialization especially in KPK and FATA areas has failed due to bad policy, miltancy and war. The familes from these areas are forced to migrate specifically to Karachi to look for jobs and settlement. They occupy and settle in private lands with support of land mafia. They are armed to the teeth and fight for what they have occupied. Why dont these people settle in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Islamabad and do the same ? The reason is that these people are encourged to move to Karachi and avoid other cities by the authorities.
