LCA as a platform is nothing but a dassault R&D bought by india... interrogated with multinational companies systems to make LCA existent. a prime example is HAL Dhruv... R&D by MBB/Eurocopter sold to india...
-desinged by MBB germany
-entire avionics supported by IAI "Israel"
-Rockets, guns and engines from France
-Brake systems from Italy
-Fuel tanks and gearboxes from Britain
-self-protection equipment from a Swedish company.

Atleast for further 5 to 7 years we don't have to worry about your LCA :lazy: bcz it will merely get into air....and by that time period we'll have our J-10B - JF-17's - F-16's and maybe another western fighter in our lines fully operational!

Relax buddy lets stay on topic.

My point is why are we comparing our selves with India, India is 5 times bigger than us so if we have 1 aircraft they have 5, If we start chasing their numbers we will end up parking planes on the Motor way. That is one of the reason our fighter conversion is so difficult and our CCS is hell PAF from the very start knew that we will always be out numbered so the training should be good so our pilots could take on numbers. And we have seen that twice.
Now we have the technology to counter such threats if challenged our Ground -to-Air capabilities are way beyond theirs.
Second thing if you have not noticed when ever there is a breach of LOC by IAF we don't send 1 type of fighter we send 3 different fighters all together with the Induction of JF-17 now we can send 4 different types of fighters that makes a hell of a difference during a dog fight. Every fighter has its capabilities some are good at low level some at medium and some at high altitudes we find out were the bugger and within sec the pilots will decided which on goes head to head, During CAP something happens and you get entangled with a superior fighter you know his handicap and you bring him to that state where you have an upper hand.

so you are making claims on bases of Mavricks and RameeX posts,,, good for you !!

No body is talking abt DRDO here.....
have they shifted the LCA project to LM??

And yes .... I am 100% shore tht in future LCA will fly... because of ToT clause in MRCA Deal.... and even if tht also not work out.. then still doors are open for us to get best plane.....

To all those who think LCA is a failure, its not.... We need an engine with 90+kn and Kaveri could only produe 70... now That the kaveri is finished and is getting fixed in IL 76 along with other 3 foreign engine to see Kaveris capacity....

Now India is not so good developing new generation fighter aircrafts like Lokheed martin and Sukhois... But We have our tecnologies being researched , Let me ask you, are there any indigenous researches happening in pakistan?

Some of the problem areas include brake management, overweight undercarriage, and redesigning of the wheels and tyres to reduce wear and tear. Also, the aircraft, in the words of its Programme Director, P.S. Subramanyam, is 1.5 tonnes heavier than what it should be. ADA has set up a subcommittee to suggest ways to reduce the weight, but it has hardly made headway, suggesting a shaving off of hardly 250 kg.

IF the LCA will fly because of the TOT then how would Indians are going to take pride of an indigenous LCA ??:taz:

perhaps by paintin them with "indegenious" paints,,
and guys dont forget to write indegenious in bold letter on it, i mean people may get confused unless it is writen on it in a clear font!
