Because they, like ALL Eastern Rite Catholics, use the Julian Calender. In the West we STILL celebrate Christian Day on January 25th. Does it matter to the Church? NO! Either date is perfectly acceptable and within the rules of the Church because it is what is being celebrated that is important. The problem is that you are trying to argue things that you have absolutely NO knowledge of and I can't have any kind of discussion with someone who is ignorant of the issue being discussed. I know it becomes increasingly embarrassing to be proved a liar time and again and have no credibility and hence the constant shifting of positions and now after having lied to the world for 2000 years about Jesus being born on 25th it has become Christian day rather than Jesus' birthday.

I know the Russian Orthodox and the Syrian Christians of India celebrate Jesus' birthday on 7th January just as the Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus was born on either of these days and do not celebrate Christmas at all.
