See Bangladesh is strategically important for India for the northeastern states, as we have not allowed insurgency to grow as our country do not allow any insurgency that may impact our neighbours. But if india scraches us we would have show our teeth. Look at myanmar we could have made their situation worse by aiding the rakhaine separatists, but we did not. Even US offered us assistance to annex Rakhaine state into Bangladesh we declined recently.
