We don't have the capability to go out and collect large numbers of (American) people from Afghanistan: SEC AUSTIN

Us Pakistanis having been saying similar things for the last 20 years and NOTHING changes. No matter what we say, do or attempt, the americans and nato will always be anti-Pakistani. We lost 70,000 Pakistanis and nearly $200 billion for the WOT yet the americans and nato remain vehemently anti-Pakistani and accuse us of terrorism. Pakistan should stay WELL CLEAR of all of this.

Your right, if they are not willing to change their tune, Pakistan should just stay clear of this mess.

Trust me, the minute we get involved and try to help them out, ALL the mess in Afghanistan will be blamed on us and us only. We need to keep WELL AWAY from this disaster and focus on Pakistan and Pakistanis ONLY. Foreigners are NOT our concern just as we are not theirs.

Pakistan is running 3 daily 777 flights to Kabul, 300 seats per plane. If Americans ask I’m sure pakistan can increase the flights as we do have spare planes.

would Pakistan be open to “helping out”? and what do you mean by helping out? Some western diplomats have evacuated through pakistani airport(s) which is one thing but Should Pakistan allow a lot of westerners or even large numbers of Afghans cleared by western countries to be allowed to enter Pakistan for the purpose of leaving in a more orderly manner to Qatar for SIV processing? And what would Pakistan get out of extending such help, opening itself up to more risks? (It would mean multiple airports; Peshawar, Islamabad, Quetta, and probably smaller ones along the border taking the chances of becoming rallying points and the associated risks that brings). Would Pakistan come under the spotlight For the evacuations just to be blamed by every ill informed Tom dick and Harry over this 20 year fiasco Pakistan wanted them not to start?

If Pakistan is to help it needs assurances to end all the political schnenigans like FATF as well as turning the page to real good relations (focused on geo-economics and mutually beneficial trade) for helping out in this regard, AT LEAST.

As an American, I would hope Pakistan helps the US and other western countries find a way to get all US and other foreign nationals out of Afghanistan safely and quickly as possible, and consider extending this to Afghans looking to leave as well (no later then Aug. 31st) perhaps via bus convoys from these cities to the Pakistani border and then each Afghan processed through pakistani immigration to make sure they are not a threat to Pakistan and then onwards to the airport

P.s. the rhetoric coming out of parts of the US media is pushing the Anti-refugee narrative. So it maybe better for Pakistan to tell the world sending food / medical aid as well as supporting an inclusive final government in Afghanistan is probably gonna help a lot more people and prevent a massive refugee exodus, rather then looking for ways to fly “millions” out

The following video also points out that Pakistan itself gets destabilized due to hosting millions of refugees, which should also be considered when Pakistan says it can’t take anymore refugees.

Pakistan should only help western diplomats in getting out of there are any

it’s not Pakistan problem to give easy access routes to workers of any national or translators etc

why to get into this multi polar conflict and burn relations etc

Pakistan had done enough and it’s over
Question is when Afghans living in Pakistan go back , western world closed her eyes on this long outstanding issue and UN as well

Ah yes Tucker Carlson the notorious white supremacist , but yeah we are living through times where there are tons of refugees

SEC AUSTIN: "We don't have the capability to go out and collect large numbers of (American) people."

@KAL-EL @F-22Raptor is this superpower? 😂
an incompetent super power. no, a very slithery one. those "uncollected" americans? expendable black water operatives that are trained in local culture and language. they are also well versed in Islam and arabic, working as isis terrorists. they will surely get tracked down as they have no verifiable roots in a any village or city and arabs are no longer welcome in the Taliban ruled Afghanistan unless they come through proper channels with proper visas which these terrorists don't have. so they will get caught and get killed. and the ol pervert uncle sam will just go like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , oh well, we don't know who they are.

those expendable black water cannon fodders are better off voluntarily surrendering themselves to the Taliban authorities rather than become the sacrificial lamb for the u.s. that has already ditched them.

Perhaps this is the best kind of help Pakistan can extend and not put itself at any more jeopardy

Under NO circumstances should Pakistan participate in the evacuation of Western or nato citizens. We will get blamed for the Afghan disaster no matter what. The West and nato will hate and demonise us NO MATTER what we do for them. The ONLY non-Pakistanis we should help are any Chinese that are stranded in Afghanistan. NO-ONE else.

I think he is referring to those "helicopter dropped" ISIS all over Afghanistan. Have they been left orphaned?

Why shouldn’t we cash in? PIA is charging up to 10,000 USD for economy seats in a 45 minute flight.

They can easily engage with Pakistan to help out with evacuations, in the same manner as Denmark and Turkey have. Not sure what's preventing them doing so?

Pakistan and US are frenemies, US will never reach out to Pakistan for help.
Hatred runs deep in US Intel, Pentagon, DoD and congress for Pakistan.

Give a safe passage from Kabul to Khaibar border post and US state department can request Pakistan for consular access to the border and fly them out of Peshawar airport

If they are paying those vast amounts than yes. But we should do NOTHING for free in the hope of promoting good will amongst non-Pakistanis.
