Tonight I browsed a popular Chinese video site and found a topped video titled as Indian Mythological Drama, then out of curiosity I watched it to the end and found that Hinduism is far more charming than I thought before.
In this clip, Vishnu lost his memory in the battle with Shiva, and finally recalled all with the help of Ganesh, then they ended war and went back their homes.
The actors were well selected and especially the two main mighties looked so handsome. The best point for me is that the drama felt very familiar and natural for me, for it just created a holy atmosphere which I felt in my trip to Wutai Mount, a famous Buddhist place of interest of China, and their wearings were like the statues in the temples.
Thought I'm an atheist, but again I see the cultural link between India and China---through Buddhism, which is generated from ancient Hinduism and has great influence on Chinese culture.

My Chinese language teacher in my high school is a sincere Buddhist and in his lectures there was often some additional Buddhist knowledge(he is a vegetarian), which influenced me in some ways.

I used to think that Hinduism is not something good for some of its byproduct like caste or extreme cattle fanaticism and should be abolished in hurry, but Hinduism also leads to non-violence and other good outcomings.

To sum up, I feel I'm not qualified to judge such a religion, especially when China is losing its traditional value as economy growing so rapidly. Is this the cost of modernisation? Anyway, I dont want to let the spritual property left by our ancestors go, and I hope India as well as other countries to keep their value for long, not to be flooded with McDonalds junk food and Hollywood films.

I am glad you watched it, Shiva(destroyer) is one of the three main gods in hinduism other being vishnu the preserver & Brahma the creater, all three are the manfastation of supreme spirit Brahman, lord bhuddha in some sect of Hinduism is consider as avtar of Vishnu, Dev ka Dev mahadave is based on mythology rather than spiritual aspect

This drama is clicked for hundreds of thousands of times and most of the comments showed that they really liked the actors of Shiva and Vishnu and especially Lakshmi. Many of the viewers got moved in the clip where Vishnu tricked his believer whose husband was planning to destroy all the mighties (I can't find the couple's English name though I tried hard) and accepted her curse upon himself.

This drama is too long, it is estimated difficult to translate complete
