I've said it before, and I'll say it again, we live in the information age, there is no way the US can hide casualties.

This was pre-planned, and the Iranians gave clear warnings through Iraqi officials that the Iranians would be attacking a US military base. In fact, there were very clear signs that they'd be doing so, as the Iranians were moving missiles to firing positions days before the attack.

In other words, there were no US deaths, because the Iranians didn't want to cause any US deaths. The Iranians know that a US death will only lead to further escalation.

Stop letting your emotions get involved with your judgement, and actually look at all the facts.

Give me those reports. I've heard these claims multiple times, and every time I ask, I either get no response, get a highly questionable source, or get a very poor excuse.

Also, don't confuse not doing anything with not being able to do anything. If they wanted, they could bomb Iran back, because this entire situation was telegraphed to the point that it gave both sides an excuse to lower tensions.

In fact, if they were afraid of Iran, they wouldn't have killed Suleimani in the first place.

You're not looking at facts, you're looking at your own personal emotions and biases and confusing them for facts.

This is my assessment.
Gen. Solaimani was the most popular man in Iran. Gen. Solaimani was becoming more and more independent in the decision making process. Hence, he was also a danger to many in the Iranian power circle as well as in Iraq. They were 'happy' when Americans took him down. A secret collusion with the American can not be ruled out. American wouldn't have taken such a big risk with getting a green signal from the Iranians.
In order to calm Gen. Solaimani's supporters , Iran and Iraq together staged this Missile attack which killed no American soldier , let alone an American General. Iran and Iraq both provided Americans advanced warning to evacuate their base.
