Was J-20 deal done in 2011. Secret intelligence report by Stratfor

.
Couldn't find anywhere it has claimed J20 as Air Superiority Fighter Jet.on contrary, from Pentagon to Independent Defense analysts claimed it as Strike Platform due to its Forward Stealth and more specifically, they quoted that it'll put USN surface fleet at risk and might risk Tankers and AWACS rather than Fighters like F-22.
Ok J-20 is maritime attacker now you happy :lol:if wan't to live in a denial mode its your choice, i shows you a reliable

Please get informed. I thought you were smart.

Hi,

I may not be ' smart '---so what---I can at least see the writing on the wall---.

To strike back---first you have to know about its existence---where it is---how far it is---.

And that is an impossible task to begin with---technically you cannot overcome that hurdle at this stage---that means you and your aircraft is toast.

The laser---would it work thru the clouds---.

F-35 has been offered to India by USA. Both Pakistan and China know it and we have the solution for this baby. Here read the report.

This comes after the Pentegon's statements yesterday that Animesh picked
found on the failed sale of F-16's and F-18's to the Indian military and
is the first instance I can remember of the US offering the F-35. Ties in

US willing to discuss F-35 fighter jets with India
2011-11-03 06:36 AM

The United States has taken a significant first step toward offering F-35
fighter jet aircraft to India in a sign of its desire to deepen defense
cooperation.

Robert Scher, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for South and
Southeast Asia, said Wednesday the U.S. thinks India's military could use
a jet like the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, which the U.S. is developing
with a consortium of allies.

"What's clear is that the F-35 is something that we would be more than
willing to talk to the government of India about," should they express an
interest, he said.

Scher was speaking at a Pentagon news conference after the release of a
Defense Department annual report to Congress on U.S.-India security
cooperation.

The report, which outlined expanding military exchanges between the
world's two largest democracies, said the U.S. is committed to a broad
trade defense relationship "that enables transfers of some of our most
advanced technologies."

The offer to discuss the F-35 comes after Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin
missed out to European competitors in April bidding for a $11 billion deal
to supply India with 126 fighter jets. The U.S. defense firms were
offering F-16s and F-18s.

President Barack Obama had lobbied in person for that deal when he visited
Indian last November, and his administration described the knock-back as a
missed opportunity to deepen defense ties.

Analysts said completing any potential sale of F-35s is still a long way
off, but the offer in principle to supply the more sophisticated jets
reflects Washington's commitment to India's growth as a global power and
emergence as a strategic partner for the United States.

Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman and Republican Sen. John Cornyn said
Wednesday's report was "an encouraging sign that the administration is
committed to strengthening our relationship with India."

The F-35 is the Pentagon's biggest weapons procurement program, and has
been undertaken with support from allies including Britain, Australia,
Canada, Israel and several European nations. It has been plagued with
delays and cost overruns.

Ashley Tellis, a defense expert at the Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace think tank, said it was unlikely India would consider
the F-35, which is not expected to be in the U.S. Air Force before 2016,
as a fresh candidate for the deal that U.S. firms missed out on in April.

But he said India will be looking to acquire a stealth fighter _ known as
the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft _ after the middle of the decade.
Although India wants to codevelop that plane, F-35s supplied by the U.S.
would be an attractive option, he said.

This is nothing new. US would love to milk the F35 by selling it to anyone that's not a threat. India was always a good option.
But there's no way India will take the bait.

Don't get me wrong. F35 will define the next few decades. It'll be susceptible only to the J20 (indirectly) and maybe the Indian version of Su-50/FGFA (directly).
But by then, the USAF will own something much superior.

.
The thing is that a stealth fighter will always remain clouded. That is why they are called stealth. It is not in the power of a blogger to disclose such things but who knows Pakistan and China could already be flying these birds. Chinese and Pakistani military industrial complex are state funded unlike USA and USSR. India depends on purchase but Pakistan and China are more into join development.
In geostrategies and geopolitics options can't be exhausted!!!

.
Was going through the data dump and came across this report I thought I might share it. This is American assessment who knows what has been going on undercover. If some has stealth tech no one will ever disclose. The F117 was not disclosed by USA until one got shot in Siberia. If Pakistan has a stealth fighter jet they will never admit it thou. Rather they would keep it stealth.

I also came across a report of JF -17 being designed as a stealth version but it had too much speculation.

It was Serbia not Siberia

Can any moderator of this section please close this plain stupid and useless thread ???

It is in no way any longer related to the PAF and also there was never ever a secret deal on the J-20 in 2011. Forget that.

I don't think that theory is off the mark. pak doesn't have any money. Having 10 to 15 jets for strategic stealth is the only viable option for PAF.

You're planning to buy 10 to 15 J 20 (unproved) we're planning to induct 250+ stealth jets (T 50)

.
This theory is as much off as if anyone would say Germany would build a stealth fighter within the next 2 years.

. . .
I can confirm that a formal request for J-20 sale has been placed before the highest office in China. Fate of it will be revealed in time.
What are the chances of the Chinese approving a couple of J20 ? These could potentially alter the air dominance of the subcontinent for the next decade or so and even ten twenty would be enough

Hi,

It depends on how pakistan can make a deal and how vulnerable china is feeling in SCS---.

So---getting the J20 is not a mission impossible.

.
In case of confidential J20 technology transferred to turkey by parkistan, it is low possibility for parkistan to get j20 in the near future, nothing to do SCS
