Reminds one of the case of Vietnamese migrant recently found frozen and asphyxiated to death in the U.K.

Western media bashing Chinese for weeks, then not apologizing when the nationality was revealed to be Vietnamese!

This time they first cursed the Chinese for their cultural culinary habit. See the many examples even in this forum.

Will they apologize? of course not. Same for Tiangong-1 space station that reentered over the South Pacific on 1st April 2018, as I predicted, and not randomly over an inhabited megalopolis!

First, we have to demand our governments to be proactive about it and ban all flights from the entire province of Hubei, China.
I don't know about your country but the public healthcare system in my country is terrible.
Moreover, India being democratic can not take steps as China did for e.g. locking down cities.

Im VN, the govt also can lock down any cities to stop spreading the virus. But the situation is still ok.

Our healthcare system is also not bad, u can buy cheap medicine everywhere and its cheaper when u have insurance.

As I know, Indian medicine in VN is cheap and almost as good as France medicine.

The deadly animal virus epidemic spreading globally may have originated in a Wuhan laboratory linked to China’s covert biological weapons program, according to an Israeli biological warfare expert.

Radio Free Asia this week rebroadcast a local Wuhan television report from 2015 showing China’s most advanced virus research laboratory known the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Radio Free Asia reported.

The laboratory is the only declared site in China capable of working with deadly viruses.

Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese bio warfare, said the institute is linked to Beijing’s covert biological weapons program.

“Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment,” Mr. Shoham told The Washington Times.

Work on biological weapons is conducted as part of a dual civilian-military research and is “definitely covert,” he said in an email.

Mr. Shoham holds a doctorate in medical microbiology. From 1970 to 1991 he was a senior analyst with Israeli military intelligence for biological and chemical warfare in the Middle East and worldwide, holding the rank of lieutenant colonel.

China in the past has denied having any offensive biological weapons. The State Department, in a report last year, said it suspects China has engaged in covert biological warfare work.

Sorry but you are Simply wrong If you think you know better than the experts. Also Vietnam is small if there is any outbreak the government would Just kill all the infected and successfully cover it up due to a smaller population.

Wow, Cnese love talking abt biowafare, but forget that biowafare have a very high risk of spreading virus.

Sem like Wuhan is just like Chernobyl of Soviet. Its so sad that CN already cover all information of the lab in Wuhan. So no one know whats happening wt the lab now.

As well as Wuhan, the Chinese authorities have quarantined nine other cities in Hubei province with total population of 33 million people as they desperately try to contain the virus.

Scientists outside China were concerned about pathogens escaping from the National Bio-safety Laboratory in Wuhan, Nature reported in 2017.

The SARS virus had already “escaped” several times from a lab in Beijing, according to the article.

The Wuhan lab was the first in China certified to study what are called BSL-4 pathogens, which can cause diseases such as Ebola and is one of 54 around the world.

But Tim Trevan, founder of CHROME Biosafety and Biosecurity Consulting in Damascus, Maryland, told Nature that an open culture is important to keeping BSL-4 labs safe.

He questioned how easy that would be to achieve in China, where he said society emphasises hierarchy.

I can see people don't really read their bio books. Viruses aren't political. This virus is a threat to human beings. It won't look at your nationality and infect you. Dietary habits of people are based on their culture what's weird to you may not be for them and vice versa. Why is this becoming a political issue?
