What's new

Warid now Airtel Bnagladesh

As a business deal congrats on the move because warid had been facing tough times in BD while AirTel which comes with vast experience of volume building as well its strong backing in the Indian market has better chances to succeed.

They offer 3.6 lacks package in their campus recruitment

One of my friend working in MSC in Airtel Bhopal in switch department as a senior engg

you mean 3.6 lac per month???? whats about newly entrance engineers...

@bangladeshi members........ keeping aside your hate against india... airtel is surely one of the best in the world, i have worked there..

they have the huge expertise in mobile communication, DTH and optical fiber communication... they will hugely develop your infrastructure.... they behave very aggressively and will build the infrastructure very fast...with quality service

one more thing ..be ready for price war.. your mobile bills gonna slash very soon

I think those who have problem with the name "BAHRTI" should ask Airtel to change its name along with "Sunil Bharti Mittal".
:rofl::rofl:
Bharathi is the name of the person who started the company..
Not related to India

Can you give me any idea how much an engineer at the entrance earn in bharti airtel per month??? If you have no prob to mention that..

Are you looking for a job with Airtel? Not sure if there is any Bangladeshi Engineers recruitment happen in Airtel.

Same is also true for other mobile companies... this is not the issue here... bangladeshis are used to with it.. other then teletalk all are foreign companies... lets see what will happen next... but the main issue is that whether they will be able to make a subscriber base or not... as grameen phone of telenor and banglalink of orascom telecom are now dominating the market... n axitia is also much ahed of warid.. n as the market is becoming saturated then I am just wondering what will airtel do in this case...n regarding telecom infrastructure bangladesh has enough of that... BTRC asked mobile companies instead of installing any new BTS to share the existing BTSs...

What do you think??? Previously I heard lots of complaints from you guys for referring you bharti... so what is your opinion about a mobile company who is running in your country with that name????

Bharati is not official name for Indians. You can call them Indians, Hindustanis, Bharat Nivasi, or something. We will call you Bangladeshi, Bengali but not bangli. Moreover, reason for Indians taking Bharati as offensive is because it doesn't seems to be correct word as this is usually name of ladies in India.

grameen phone (telner) is also in India ( in the name of Uninor)

Moreover, you still don't know what Airtel could do in the BD. Not only price war may start but it will create new services too.

yaa.. you are right.. but the quality of service and value added service that airtel is capable of .. is the silver lining. trust me their approach is very aggressive and they keep innovating... as i pointed out, apart from mobile communication, they have great expertise in DTH services, broadband and optical fiber communication.. ARPU is also very low in india but they are surviving on the basis of value added service

To the bd members or any 1 who has knowledge about bd telecom can any 1 tell me right now is there any pstn operator is left or working after closing many of the pstn companies....

N as we know the primary reason that was shown is that they were involved in illegal voip activites... same is also done by bd mobile companies but they were only fined for it...

was the decision of closing of the PSTN political or it was done to make the way for 3g??/ As when I was in bd I heard that bangladesh was unable to implement 3g in Bangladesh due to these PSTN companies as there will be some frequency spectrum clash between the 3g and pstn???

Any idea... I heard this is also the case for india...did the indian companies implemented 3g so far??

I know as Rubaba Dowla Motin is now with Airtel to entertain the employee and the subscriber... ;)... n regarding optical fiber I heard that bd government has some plan to connect with optical fiber line of airtel as a reserve optical fiber whenever submarine cable is disrupted...

the main reason is bharti is a nown (not adjective)

It can be a name of a person or a organization, but it is not suitable to represent a group of people

therefore bharti simply do not imply for Indians.....

however the correct and official term you can use for Indian is "Bhartiya"

Short form of bhartiya is bharti... now happy or this explanation is not enough...
