Integration is such a broad term the westerners themselves dont even know what exactly they want, it can span from being a good citizen up until assimilation.

For my take, When Someone speak about "Integration" it's simply meaning "You shall not be different from me".

Most of them are far from being exemplary citizens... The majority of them use that "Citizen/Assimilation thingy" because of their inability to express their true thinking...

I am living in US since a long time and I never faced any discrimination or racism.

Secondly, why don’t you change your state? And in that state, be around people belong to your part of the world?

If not even that, back to your honeland?

Abd he tells me the attention he gets from the opposite sex is shocking. Out on duty he gets numbers pushed his way all the time. Women are attracted to uniformed guys and with his exotic looks he gets more than his share. Of course he never takes it anywhere for obvious reasons ..

I am 2nd gen. I can relate with that but we got to keep a open mind and not get constipated about it. I always am aware of my roots as Pakistani but I prefix that with British. It's a evolving process.

I mean the guy wants to become a fighter pilot in Turkish airforce though his flags are Pakistani and American.... how seriously should we take him. and then he is mixing religion with race and color...
If he is really a Pakistani citizen and wants to be fighter pilot, his first and only choice should be PAF. If he is an American then USAF should be the right choice but no...none of those..he wants to be in TuAF ..how realistic is that? I think he is trolling

It depends on who uses it, most left wingers will mean being a good citizen and right wing will do exactly what you said knowing fully that it wont work so they have an excuse to get you out of the country.

I hear "Allahu Akbar" (in jokes) mostly from Guys, who don't hold Islam highly in their minds... than actual Muslims...

Here in NYC the best pension you can get here is working for the NYPD,FDNY,Sanitation,or working MTA(Transit).FDNY is all filled with Irish Americans tho NYPD has become more diverse tho in recent decades I mean there is Pakistani Captain in one of the precendents now

Speak with USAF guys most will tell you they joined up to fly the fastest and the best jet aircraft which are not fielded by airlines of the world. And are commonly found in military aviation.

I want excitement and adventure with the ability to travel the world as I please. With an American passport I can do just that.

The threads that I have opened are purely to discuss how tiresome it has been to combat a constantly rising tide of confrontational behavior because of my reliogion and skin color. And in my original post I did not even bring up a Pakistani identity.
