Samsung Galaxy Y and Walton Primo G1 (G2, R1) are almost same priced but Galaxy Y is a lower quality one....I bought my cousin a Galaxy Y, it didn't serve well. I compared G1 today with SII, these are almost same but the latter is 3/4 times expensive.
Yeah only one operator started 3G in BD.

Its only BD 7,490 Taka. This is cheap.
Is there any mobile service conract required
?
Pretty cheap, might get one next year. There should be better models then
TV should promote this kind of cheap stuff so that more people get interested and buy phones made in BD
What are the prices of other smartphones of the same caliber compared to walton?Other than the 1st Primo which was based on Android 2 Gingerbread latest G1, R1, F1 and G2 based on Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) are comparable to any international brands. Yesterday I compared my G1 with Samsung Galaxy SII and G1 isn't bad you know. In fact, Android made things easy. Walton did a mistake, it should have fixed the price at least half of renowned brands that would attract Bangali...it's our typical mindset we don't like cheap as well as our brands .

When is this one coming out and what is the price? definitely looks better
and can someone differentiate all of them properly? i am getting confused with the names
But i have a question, why would someone buy G1, when G2 is of the same price?3/4 times more than Walton.
Visit Walton site mobile section at Walton Mobile ...every detail is there.
But i have a question, why would someone buy G1, when G2 is of the same price?
You could compare the specs yourself from their site. Probably G2 has smaller screen than G1 and G2 costs 100/200 tk more than G1.
Oh wait i was comparing Primo and G1. Among them all, i like R1 the most but the display is too small, only 4"
I also went for R1 but got G1 ...when you physically see them, G1 is the most attractive one.
