VK Singh in new row, calls media 'presstitutes'

he is not a bazaaru aurat to use such language.. there is a minimum decency you expect from people like him.
He's a tough-as-nails military commander who is not just a politician but also a leader.

There was a bloody reason why PM Modi appointed him as an MOS for Foreign Affairs. His no nonsense attitude and his slick military sarcasm on how to deal with fake fourth pillars is what was in his mind.

Think about it; Gen. Singh was never a politician. He is India's first commando to reach the rank of a general, has vast experiences in leading men against enemies in multiple conflicts and counter terrorist missions. He was simply chosen for dealing with situations like these.

Decency against TRP-whoring faggots like TIMES NOW is like folding your hands and teaching a donkey wisdom.

Giving them back in the same language is the way to go. Just see how much support the general has got from across India from all the people.

.
Can someone provide context, why exactly did Times now make such an absurd statement?
Gen and Arnab were at loggerheads since his date of birth issue came, certain media sections called him names, fake coup story by Indian Express, bribe issue which he exposed. opposition ran a smear campaign against the Gen. through their media pets.
Then that Pak Embassy issue where Gen attended the Mar 23rd function, he was there for 10 mins but Arnab jumped on him, and now when he is there on the ground zero to oversee the rescue efforts. No main stream media covered it and he showed his displeasure by a sarcastic comment which once again Arnab wanted to give a twist to bark on Gen, but got b!tch slapped.

.
Actually he is just defending himself. Media thinks they can do anything they want and get away with it. Just because he is a foreign minister doesn't mean he has to take every shit thrown at him. Now when he called them presstitutes, ye log ro ro ke chautha manane lag jaate hai!

These fake media channels who call themselves mainstream are just cry babies who will attack everyone and call it their right but will cry like little b*tches when others respond to the attacks.

Congress seeks V K Singh's dismissal

NEW DELHI: Congress on Wednesday demanded immediate sacking of Union minister V K Singh for his controversial "presstitutes" remarks against newsmen :D and targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking any action against him.
"We are not going to rest till the demand is met. He should be sacked immediately. This is a highly condemnable remark against the media, which is the fourth pillar of democracy," Congress spokesperson Khushboo told reporters at the AICC briefing.
Asked what the party would do if Singh was not removed, she said, "We will first wait to see what action is being taken." Khushboo said what is lamentable is that the Modi government and the BJP is full of ministers and leaders and MPs ranging from Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti to Giriraj Singh and Sakshi Maharaj, known for making controversial remarks.
Singh came under attack from several Congress leaders who slammed the minister of state for external affairs over his remarks. Singh's "statement shows utter intolerance and incapacity to hear any kind of criticism or dissent", the Indian National Congress said on its Twitter handle, quoting its spokesman Abhishek Singhvi.
Another party spokesman, Sanjay Jha, tweeted, "General VK Singh's choice of dreadful terms to attack Indian media is not just politically inappropriate but seriously lamentable."
"Generally speaking, BJP confesses that it is a lousy, bad guardian of Indian democracy. A direct assault on Indian media is no private matter," Jha said in another tweet.
Singh, who is currently in Djibouti to oversee evacuation of Indians from Yemen, had on Tuesday compared the rescue operation from the war-torn country with his visit to the Pakistani mission recently, saying the evacuation was "less exciting". However, he later made snide remarks against a TV channel for playing up his comparison remarks.
"Friends what do you you expect from presstitutes," he said in a tweet late last night adding that last time the TV anchor thought there was 'O' in place of 'E'.
His remarks elicited sharp reactions from political parties as well as a media body.
Former Union minister Manish Tewari said that what Singh has said is "completely reprehensible" and needs to be condemned in strongest possible terms. "It's an assault on the freedom of the Press," he said.
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue, he said that had there been a sensitive Prime Minister, he would have "dismissed" the minister by now. "But since the Prime Minister and the Minister seem to share a similar mindset, I have no expectation out of the PM," he said, alleging this is a "completely fascist" mindset.

somebody from bjp should hand hold VK too.. agreed they got his age wrong.. but he is not that young.:p:

.
I think we should stop disrespecting our leaders. V K Singh has gone to evacuate Indian citizens from war zone and really hats off for him.

Government of India should protect each single Indian citizen aboard .

. .
Whilst the sentiment is not far off the mark there is surely a more diplomatic way of expressing this, as a former army man one can expect this of him- he is hardly a career politician (which is a good thing). He is doing a good job (see his work in evacuating Indians from Yemen) but perhaps needs to get a spokesperson to speak on his behalf, there is no point in giving critics of him and the GoI ammunition.
You are kidding me right? he is the MOS for the MEA.:) going by his past interactions with the press he is hardly suited for the job of diplomacy , MOS Home is better for him.
