Visiting gun market in Sadr city, Baghdad

The traveller came from China and his goal was to have a peak inside the famous Sadr city gun market. Apparently it is a forbidden area with a volatile security situation. He was later brought into the Iraqi intelligence agency by undercover agents and questioned to figure out his motive and was released after a hour.

@7:50 an old man gave him a Sadr sticker for luck and protection.
@8:50 one of the vendors tried to give him a grenade as a welcoming gift.

The impression that Iraq gave him was that many people seemed educated but due to the circumstance of the wars and internal strife many were forced into destitute. Also the old man at the end had a sad fate, he was pelted with stones and bottles by passersby which crippled him. In other videos he noted that many ordinary people seemed happy and are hopeful for a happy future.
