Pakistan has not a single case of such nature and neither we support such custom then why we need to discuss it here? you know many kids also member of this forum who may took these things other prospect. And I, in our current age, never heard, neither saw such thing, in the hundreds of Weddings I take part, whatever from Middle class ones or from traditional ones...

But if you really did... then, you got lucky or unlucky, depends on who is judging.

I know few did so, in the region, but it was 50-70 years ago... and it's things you hear from Grandmas gossip...

Unlucky; i was shocked that this practise existed. These women came out parading these sheets and the women started to make the tongue sounds. Anyway, i was disturbed by it given how those friends of mine had no qualms about sleeping around when not in their own countries yet women were being given this moral treatment.

It's not just a 'man hypocrisy' thing, women are party to these practices aswell. Similar to female genital mutilation. Both parents make these decisions and have long line of these stupid customs.

This got nothing to do with just men. It's whole families and cultures in on it.
