Firstly the world record for quantum communication via quantum entanglement is 100 kilometres, a record set by a Chinese team. The American record is 33 kilometres, which was achieved by China in 2013. This means that in the field of quantum communications, the gap between the United States and China reaches 10 years.
In the field of quantum measurements, China's quantum radar and quantum satellites have been in use for many years. The United States is still in the research phase.
Secondly, our artificial intelligence has been used on a large scale. Do you know how many types of AI robots are now in use in Chinese society?
China and the United States have different areas of economic focus, and both countries face different issues. The United States focuses on services, while China focuses on industry. China certainly won't invest too many resources in AI human-computer interaction, because even if it gets results, it's the U.S. that gains. By the same token, the U.S. will not invest too many resources in AI industrial applications. These two countries run on different tracks when it comes to AI research, and I don't see any point in comparing between them.
