Vietnam asks China to pull drilling rig out of undelineated area

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has asked China not to conduct oil drilling and promptly pull its Haiyang Shiyou 981 drilling rig out of the mouth of the Gulf of Tonkin, Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Le Hai Binh said on January 19.

In response to reporters’ queries about the operation of the Haiyang Shiyou 981 rig and Vietnam’s reaction, Binh said in the evening of January 16, 2016, the Haiyang Shiyou 981 moved to a position around 21.4 nautical miles to the east from the suggested equidistant boundary line between the two base lines of Vietnam and China.

On January 18, a representative from the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry met a counterpart from the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi to raise Vietnam’s concern over China’s above-mentioned action, saying that it happened in the overlapping area between the continental shelves of Vietnam’s central region and China’s Hainan island which is yet to be delineated.

Vietnam reserves its legitimate rights and interests in the area in accordance with international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and related international realties, he stated.-VNA

1. no of shoals/reefs that are occupying by viet communists, pinoys ... et at
2. infra structures / military deployments on these places
3. the total number of oil well that surveying are being conducted in the area identifiable by operators
4. each and every oil rig under is drawing resources from the territory, identiy them by countries /operators
5. the estmated production volumns out of these rigs in point 4
6. get a close video footage and photos of the above
7. publish and release the info regularly in the media and let the world know:

a. we are the least minority by number of operating oil rigs and by number of occupied territories
b. connect the dots and I am not surprised that the countries where their media constantly blow up the news are having a vested financial interested in the territory by working together with the viet communists, the pinoy government ...et al

IMO NO! In history USA has always acted in self interest nation and what has Vietnam to offer to USA in return for this big favor? LOL Her sovereignty!

It is a well known fact that the Khmer Krom tribes (blood relatives of the murderous Pol Pot regime in Kampuchea and the Negrito natives) within Vietnam has that racialist tendency. They are very covetous of the others esp. the Chinese successes although many of these Chinese Vietnamese are naturalized citizens who have lived there for many many generations.

That was why in China history, the Chinese regards these tribes as barbarians.

The famous Chinese strategist Zhu Ke-Liang was among the first to observe that when he mocked a warring tribal chieftain who thought he was the best fighter in the world then by capturing him and releasing him several times.

For one, they do not think very far ahead e.g. when they hijacked Vietnam planned anti-China SCS protests into an anti-Chinese one, looting, burning anything that has Chinese suggestion e.g. Singaporean, Malaysian, Taiwanese factories. That alarmed the Vietnamese government that lead to their arrest in order to try to atone the angry investors.

Much earlier on, they forcefully pushed folks of Chinese ethnicity into leaky boats to be killed in the open seas after raping the female including old ladies yet ironically today it is the descendants of these Chinese Vietnamese who migrated abroad that are returning today to revive Vietnamese economy. Even the heads of Vietnam today are mostly Chinese descent.

The Kingdom of Kampa had vanished forever, destroyed by the armies of the King of Annam under the order from the Emperor of the Empire. So the descendants are pursuing a lost cause.
