Vietnam urges Japan to stop the Chinese in the South China Sea

Except your chart is at least 15 years old and has not been updated for more than a decade that has passed. It was guesstimate at best of what PLAN's currency capability is. Common wisdom 20 years ago was that China will not surpass Japan economically until 2030, and yet it was done in 2007. That's what guesstimates are, predictions based on linear growth. I know you Indians like to grasp at straws, but do try to find some more updated information in your desperate search.

Nope that is from a us intelligence report used in 2018.The chart has been in use since 2010s and they see no reason to change its contents which is why it features in the 2018 version as well.

Just for your reference, I graduated high school in 2005 and I saw this chart on Globalsecurity.org before that. You really are using pigeon internet in India. If American intelligence was to be believed, J-20 would not make its first flight until 2020.

Nope this chart first appeared in 2009-10 report.
Here are 2 reports that use it -

And you don't have to believe this chart alone.

Go to these recent links. They are still a noisy joke as ever.

Don't expect too much from those IQ82s... 99.99999% of those IQ82s didn't know what is internet back then...

Like I said, you're posting an outdated chart and claiming it's representative of current capabilities based on faulty linear estimates. The links you recently posted described the incident where the 093 surfaced near the Diaoyu Islands, which was a public display intended for Japan. Even in that case, it took Japan half a dozen ships and constant aerial surveillance to keep track of it, which none of that would be available to operate freely in war time. Submarines do not operate in a vaccum environment, and are supported by a range of surface and air assets. China has the clear upper hand within the first island chain in those departments against any foe other than USN.

Regardless of whether Chinese subs are capable enough or not, it is certainly light years ahead of anything India is capable of producing.
