Those Su22 are used for training, still more modern than Mig21 of India that were used in the recent bomb run on Pakistan. Indo airforce comprises mostly of vintage and second hand aircraft.No reason for you to laugh on us.

Very unfortunate that the Vietnamese guy dragged India into this heated argument, for some reason he mentioned Indian Mig-21 as being lesser to their Su-22s, they make unnecessary provocation cause they just can't control the words that came from their mouths.

This is not even the first time it happened in this thread, it was first just about Indonesia and Vietnam dispute, but for some reason the Vietnamese also insulted the Cambodians, dragged the Chinese into the argument, then the Pakistanis, name-calling the Thais, and now dragging India down into the argument by undermining the Indian Air Force's Mig-21 to make their Su-22 looks good.

When arguing with someone, the Vietnamese literally can't say any complete sentence without name-calling and insulting someone else that's have nothing to do with their problem, and ends up making many people offended by their words. Now it's very clear of why their lands are so often ravaged by war.

We got newly built Flanker Legacy like Su27/30/35, got two full squadron of F 16, got T50 light attack fighter and two squadron full Ground attack Hawk 109/209.

Not to mention we got medium range MPA/ASW platform like Cn235/295, got electronic attack and ground surveillance aircraft like Boeing 707 slammr, in which got no comparison in vintage VPA airforce. Not to mention smaller patroller like nomad and Cn212mpa.

Even your rotary fleets is dwarf compared to us, your naval fleets is dwarf compared to us, with ten newly built missile corvettes (comparable to your gepard class), 8 missile armed medium frigates, 14 patrol ASW corvettes and more than two dozen armed fast attack missile boats

Shhhhtttt......we don't even need to flash our superior armaments, the fact that Vietnam is still isn't able to design a simple APC despite claiming as a military superpower is already ironic and embarrassing enough, they can't counter it lol, not even by flashing their soon-to-be-fossilized Su-22s.

If Vietnam can't even design/build an APC on it's own, not even by reverse-engineering, they sure still have a galaxy to go to attain the level of being able to produce aircraft. The last time they claimed to have any "innovation", is them stacking together MANPADS and call it "Mini-Pantsir", a claim worthy of thousands facepalms. But meh...let them delude themselves by thinking that they are a military superpower and a global food superpower with their "mini-pantsirs" and "meat consumption per capita".

Good thing it will blow over in no time as both countries have no serious contentious issues and ASEAN is always there to soothe things out between member nations.
Its a dispute over EEZ and NOT ownership of islands, certainly a resolvable matter.

I see this as a good exercise in venting out their frustrations.
Especially Indonesia Navy must learn to take it easy and NOT brandish their arms willy nilly over a trivial incident.
Their agitated behavior don't instil much confidence on the state of mental stability of the Indonesian Navy authorized to carry arms.
Contrast that with the calm composure Vietnam and China exhibit when ramming each other.
