The Museum of Hanoi (Vietnamese: Bảo tàng Hà Nội) is located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The museum displays artifacts from Hanoi's 1000 year history and the history, culture, heritage, and architecture that has blossomed in Vietnam. It showcases over 50,000 artifacts in a total area of nearly 54,000 square meters.

The Hanoi museum was opened in 2010 for the Millennial Anniversary of Hanoi. The building represents an overall design of a reversed Pyramid.

When I went back to Viet Nam in 2007, the country was absolutely hopeless. There was virtually no construction at all. It looked as though the faces of Sai Gon and Ha Noi would remain like that for an indefinite timeline with no hope of any changes.

Now in 2012, in the outskirt of Ha Noi and Sai Gon, cranes are popping up everywhere; the scene is beyond my imagination. Even Da Nang and Vung Tau are experiencing construction boom. In my dream, I would not have imagined in a span of just 5 years, Viet Nam went from a hopeless country to a country that is experiencing that kind of construction boom and we're just getting started. The pace of Viet Nam's developement has exceeded what I had expected. Can't wait to see and visit Viet Nam sometimes in the 2020's.

Skyscrapercity is the source of update on the progess of Viet Nam's developement if anyone wants to see.
