Maybe because the IG was the right guy for Shahbaz sharif, as I said before to provide protection to smugglers and land grabbers.

Btw it was not because of just his brother in law, there were 2 plots both were vacated but the other guy was killed by the mafia for raising the complain, not just that police was doing nothing against land grabbers mafia throughout Punjab, they were complicit in crimes and the land grabbers enjoyed political patronage.
In any other country PM would not have had to interfere to sack IG for supporting land grabbers and harassing the victims.

The point is it's obvious how much government and private land was grabbed in protection of police. Your own post contradicts your stand.
