If you look at the Indian education system - the way it is perceived at grass-roots level, if you fail in one standard or one subject in your final exams, not only your parents but your entire neighborhood thinks you are good for nothing.

Unfortunately, "failure" in India is looked down as the most undesirable thing ever .

Sir. knowledge is never wasted- all the work done on SARAS will be helpful to NAL in later projects like RTA and for the Indian aviation infustery as a whole. And like it has been said there are orders.


I hope that once orders are delivered there will be much larger orders from many Indian agencies, on palaver the SARAS is a great plane for specific tasks.

Dude I know that. But lemme tell you one thing. No matter how many planes we design and ply prototypes of, they will not add to our capabilities and capacity until we mass produce them. This is simple economics. More over this plane is no breakthrough. Even small countries can design something like this.
