Well China is a nation which is still developing. The simple reason is that you can earn more living in the west than you can in China (on average).

And many Chinese just switch nationality for ease of travelling with a foreign passport. They still stay in China and contributed a lot. Example, Jet Lee. He is one of the most respectable figure in China despite holding a singaporre passport. He setup One foundation that benefits many poor Chinese and overseas people.

Of course some people are going to like it in China but Americans aren’t moving there in droves. Chinese immigration to the US a few years ago passed Mexicans...that says a lot.
