I think we are somewhat overblowing how much the US would pressure BD to join the "Western camp".

BD is not that important to them anyway, at least for now, and they will probably accept the country staying neutral grudgingly.

Just because they visit and urge BD to take sides does not mean they will go all out to force BD to choose sides.

BD will simply fall in line with US agenda in public. You fight the battle you can win.

In the background BD will use alternative trade mechanism as it has already done to engage with russia where we benefit.

You go against then you align.... thats how balancing is done.
