leopards are being killed in india not only by poachers but more so by villagers and when they in confusion and hunger enter towns, by police and even army... watch the video from last year when a leopard entered meerut city.

i won't post another video of the murder of a leopard by villagers because it is too distressing to me.

leopards are almost extinct.

i know in my place is less .....though still there is increasing confrontation
there is some of the rescue centre in my place also

that is impossible... if you wish, you can create a thread of the cats you know or see, and post daily pictures of them.

for years, i had generations of cats in my house... all killed now.

in all of bangalore, there must be a hundred cats... and in india totally there must be less than 10,000 small cats and leopards, reducing daily.

sorry, but india is no country for cats.

thank you for the photos, i have saved them... but for the last three years, i keep hoping that i don't ever hear the scream of a cat being killed by five to eight dogs... many years ago, when i would shoot at dogs with a air-rifle, but now i have given up... political change is the only way to removing dogs and bringing back cats.

i dont know about other place but in WB cats are widely made pet....i mean a lot............i am animal lover i love both cat dog cow anything .............

once i was in a place for some work and i saw a least 12-14 cats in one house a lot of them in same molalla

Are you sure Muslims wont kill lizards,spiders etc.?
It's written in hadees that gharghad trees, spiders hide jews and lizards which gave away from karbala massacre escapees.

I seen many muslims hunt and kill lizards as if on a zeal to eradicate it from this earth when i was young.I didn't understand why they were so mad about a lizard, i knew later.
