Very rare - the original documentary film of the October War 1973

omg the level of sub-intelligence in this post is cancerous. How many time did I personally posted in this very forum that the opening of the war took us by a surprise? No mater how many time you'll bang your heads on the wall and scream victory you just won't get it do you? The opening of the war does not determine the outcome, but you just can't bring yourselves to comprehend something so complicated can you? I'll give you examples so that you won't get a headache trying to think of historical event that prove my point:
  • The Israeli war of independence 1948 - stared with repeating defeats of the newly established IDF - ended with a crushing defeat to the Arab armies.
  • The Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union took the soviets by surprise and almost bringing thee Union to it's knees - ended with Soviets pushing the Nazis back to Berlin and taking it as well.
  • The Argentinian invasion of the Falklands took Britain by surprise - ended up with crushing defeat to the invaders.
  • The Napoleonic conquests took all of Europe by surprise - ended up with the defeat of the expanding empire.
  • The war tactics used by Hannibal of Carthage came to nearly bringing the Roman empire to it's knees - ended up with the destruction of Carthage by the Romans.
I can go on and on about good openings of wars by so many defeated nations but you would still not be able to understand because you don't want to. But hey Sadat said you won he wouldn't possibly lie would he now? What kind of dictator lies to their people, right?

.
Believe me they are all like this

They support the lie that makes them happy rather than the truth which will shock them
The Arab Baath Socialist Party in Iraq wanted a comprehensive war of liberation and that is why all of Iraq's capabilities were put into the service of the battle. But Sadat's vision was that it was a war of moving the stagnation and breaking the status quo. In the Egyptian- Syrian fighting front there was neither peace nor war since 1967..

So, I do understand why you feel that way.. but US threats to intervene with own troops to save the Usraelis from the "pocket" where they were surrounded.. could not be just ignored..
Sadat said it clearly, that he could fight Usrael and win, but he could not fight the US who has threatened war on Egypt on behalf of Usrael.. you can see this kind of strategic protection being extended to the present day..

Actually the end of the October Ramadan war of 1973 (the first war where regular Arab armies fought your regular army made of the whole of Usraeli reservists in the millions face to face) was worst for Usrael than its opening.. try to find and read about the "Shamil" plan..and the US answer to that.. your IDF was a sitting duck for Egyptian forces to kill with much ease..there was no water barrier nor a Barlev line between IDF and the Egyptian forces.. you can deduce for yourself that if they had inflicted such a "opening" defeat upon Usrael being protected by 2 major barriers.. what kind of defeat was awaiting Usrael without any natural or artificial protection.. and the sudden second ceasefire that have saved it in June 1974..

And what Sadat has to do with Nixon saying that without US help Usrael couldn't sustain another 48 hours of war..?
You are just a crying baby who wants to ignore and mask what the Arabs and Muslims have achieved for thousands of years..victory after victory against all odds.. till you lose count of them.. It is obvious that you still feel a bitter pain like all of your compatriots, their fathers and grand fathers from this clear and real defeat.. far from your Hollywood scenarios..

Do you have some issues related to repeating your words?!

Why didn't you mention attacking Elat port by Egyptian Speacial forces TWICE .... Destroying 2 major ships and most of the port.
Or mention destroying ELAT Frigate by a missile boat for the first time in history.
Or Destroying the Barleive line only by water canons....,,!!

This is a war with many battles ..... Between 2 regional powers, people like you have to raise their mental ability bar to understand......Both of them used all they can from the hearts and minds of their own people.....but finally we got our land back which is something Israel rarly do even if they sign peace agreements....because they know the cost of being Egypt's Enemy.
Bullshit, that the reason, you ask them for permission each time , you want one of your jeeps cross the canal..You are just a share cropper in the Sinai..You didn't won crap!

What is the point talking about a war that ended over 40 years ago ? today Egypt and Israel are on good terms and Egypt's main enemy are Sudan and MB while Israel has her own issues with Iran and Hezbollah .

By the way Arabs hate Egyptians even more than Jews themselves , it would be wise for a country like Israel to built better ties with Egypt .

Typical Algerian Sharmoot , there is no hope in these clowns .

If you look at the Map today and current challenges then you will eventually figure out that Egypt's True enemies are MB , Sudan and Qatar , thankfully Sisi understood this and moved on .

Arabs except for Gulf are useless and have nothing to offer Egyptian , just a prime example is the Algerian Clown Ceyal , with people like these who can ask for enemies ?

Ok about Cylal.. I am happy that Egypt knows its enemies now, although I think it has fairly good relations with Sudan.. since MB has different branches with different aims..
For the rest I invite you to read my new posted thread where you can see friends and enemy of Egypt::

Sudan Government is certainly working against Egypt interests through supporting terrorism and creating propaganda on its media outlets to increase hatred of Egyptians . Sudan is part of the Qatari axis to undermine Egypt security and stability. Egypt should keep a close eye on that country and prepare for war in order to force Sudanese MB government to act accordingly . Remember these countries only understand the language of threat , just like how Saudi Arabia forced Sudan to behave and cut all of its ties with Iran.

Well Excellent blog but I guess now Egypt should focus on how it can secure its water rights , remember Sadat said Egypt will not fight against except for water .

Sudan was sanctioned for more than 20 years for supporting terrorism, it just got out of those sanctions.. So I do not think that it is ready to play with that fire again or anymore when all other countries are looking for better economics and education.. I think it has started on that way too.. Qatar in my view presented/presents a worst threat to Egypt, but now with KSA, the UAE and Bahrain siding with Egypt, its mischiefs have diminished significantly.. Egypt is on the right path in reforms, the economy showed positive signs and this before even starting to exploit its huge newly found Gas reserves.. let's hope for the best..
Water.. yes there is/was a problem with Ethiopia, but do not forget that Usrael has many Ethiopian Felashas jews that it brought out of Ethiopia,,So i am quite sure it had a hand in initiating that Dam project.. since it can threaten Egypt's survival anytime as long as it has some leverage on the Ethiopian government.. this shows to what extent Usrael fears Egypt.. and believe me this is no joke, since Usraelis were caught red handed in stirring the revolution in Egypt as recently as 2013.. that is why I think Usrael has a hand behind the construction of that Dam.. but it has lost its bet, since China took over the building of the Dam and it is a UN security Council member with a veto, Russia too and they are both on the side of Egypt on this.. since if Ethiopia refuses to fill the Dam slowly and according to the natural movements of the Nile, the matter will go to the Security Council and Ethiopia will lose.. but I think they are agreeing to let Egypt get its normal share of the waters..

Arab mentality is forever to twist reality to meet their own twisted ideals, it's their countries so let them lie to them selves or celebrate a supposed victory. Trying to convince them otherwise is futile to begin with so don't bother.
Post some rare video from Isreali media and maps from beginning of war till the end. Want to see how much land the lost and how they gain .

Al-Sisi did a lot of great economic reforms that will help Egypt in the medium and long term but I do not think that el sewar , stupid MB clowns and general ignorant Arabs will understand what he is doing . As you know people in our countries look under their feet and believe anything told to them .

1) Devaluing the Pound :
a) will make Egyptian local business more competitive and encourage local retailers to switch to assembling thus reducing imports
b) Egypt trade deficit decreased by 50% after devaluing the pound .
c) Foreign reserves increased which allows local business to access dollar funds to import required machinary and raw material for production .

2) Cutting Wasteful subsidies ( no previous president dared to touch it )
a) reducing wasteful subsidies given to rich Egyptians especially car fuel and will also help eliminate black market where subsidized food was re-exported to other countries like Sudan and Libya
b) more money will be allocated towards Education , infrastructure and health care .
c) lower budget deficit will reduce government demand for bank loans which will make more financial resources available for local business to access in order to fund their business activities .

I dont need to mention the current strategic projects currently that are being build and the ones that were completed like Dumyiat furniture industrial city and Robeky industrial leather complex . There is also the major Fish Farms project over 20,000 fedan in Kafr el shiek and the first phase of suez canal project under construction .

As you know many Arabs are MB Sympathizers or members and they deeply hate Egypt for political reasons and media propaganda , they are all going nuts as they see Al-SISI cementing in power and Egypt moving towards stability and progress .

I personally think Ethiopia's Government might even not survive in the long run , after All its ruled by an ethnic minorities and there is a lot of cards to play there if negotiations dont work out without having to enter in a direct conflict . The problem is not really Ethiopia , its actually the Sudanese government , they have been hostile towards Egypt for a long time , starting with Mubarak Assassination attempt , allowing arms to flow from their country to Egypt , Harbouring MB members and supporting terrorism in Libya .

Sudan can also be easily contained and I think Egypt evolving and close ties with Southern Sudan is what driving them crazy , Sisi is also visiting Chad and Egypt already has good ties with Eritrea this would keep sudan pretty much contained on All sides . I think Bachir is feeling squeezed with the current economic crises they are going through after losing oil revenues from southern sudan oil fields .

Sudan will face a similar break down just like Libya , its only a matter of time , this is why I said it will be a future threat towards Egypt . Egypt has haftar who protects Egypt from terrorism by controlling Eastern Libya , the question is how will Egypt deal with the break down of Sudanese government after the death or Fall of Bachir , the guy is growing old .

I do not think Israel has anything to do with the Ethiopian Dam , you already know Israel has advanced technologies in Water distillation , conservation and recycling which they exported to many countries like India and Ethiopia . They are also advanced in Agriculture and have one of the highest fields outputs even though its a desert country .

I agree Israel would be spying on Egypt especially during a time of revolution when no one knew who will run the countries but remember there were 30 other countries also spying on Egypt during that time . Israel does not have the capacity or influence to change events in Egypt as its seen negatively by most Egyptians .

As Al Sisi said before the threat today is from 4th generation warefare which utilizes media and propaganda to turn locals against their government by using religion and other sensitive topics like palestine to push people to destroy their countries with their own hands just like what happened in Libya , Syria and Yemen .

Al Jazeera sponsoring terrorist figures like Biladen , Hasan nasrullah and MB figures over the past 2 decades has created a huge pool of followers for these groups inside arab countries . They only needed a trigger to turn these masses into militiants seeking to destroy their national countries to bring back the so called khilafa or wilayat al fakih .

You always keep one bullet for your foreign enemies and 9 for traitors like MB , qatar and alqauda . A prime example would be someone like Celyal , you can see how deeply he hates other Arabs as a result of brainwashing that has been going on for years . You dont even see standard israelis spewing hate against Egypt the way he does , and there are many Arabs and even Egyptians similar to him out there .
