no doubt its such a marvellous place. I have not been fortunate enough to visit Venice despite the fact it was always the highest priority for me whenever visiting Italy. In fact last time when I went to meet my relatives living around Casanno Magnago (between Milan and Varese) we planned to visit Venice and were driving towards Venice before changing plans to stick around Milano for that day.

Next time Insha'Allah I do hope to visit Venice upon my visit to Italy. The best thing in Italy I have liked so far is Rome... and the most boring city for me was Milan... It was just OK but I have had better experiences with other cities.

Venice is italy and always was.

That said come back when venice starts civil war like your kurds and want break away 50% of our country.

So before talking BS about my country concentrate on yours.

oh noooo! Milan is so boring and rather cold. Its a very snobbish city and you made a mistake to go there instead of venice Milan has cool industry and life style labels but i dont like it there that much.

Rome is awesome but you must also visit Fireze and Lucca as well as Napoli. Napoli is a bit chaotic though.

You have more than enough time to do so. Venice is predicted to die within 50 years since the last 1000 years

We did read letters in history classes 500 years old where experts estimated venice would sink in the next 10 years or so. It still stands.

Most people dont know that one of the greatest landmarks of venice...the Campanile was already destroyed.

They did try to install an elevator inside and removed some iron clamps. As they did so the entire tower started to crack. They evacuated the building and it collapsed. It was really sad and shock for italy and the world but they rebuild it identical.

Venice was founded originally in Roman times & was an independent Italian state until it was conquered by the Austrians. later it was returned to Italy after the Austrians lost their war with both Prussia & Italy.
the "venetian language" like sicilian, piedmontese & most other regional "languages" are considered dialects by every international body.
you are just an idiot, if Venice however gets Independence that would mean also that Kurdistan should get it, Istanbul should be renamed Constantinople & you would have to pack your bags to central asia.
don't try & being up obscure pieces of the past just because one or two italians on PDF ruffle your feathers.
