why did they have to fire on old ship, they could have made some serious money keeping it at a muesuem...........

Money wasted. If the CG burned all that fuel to get to the derelict boat, why didn't they tow the boat back to port to return it to the original owner (if alive) or sell it for scrap? And don't say anything about the radioactive material, the boat was long out to sea before the plant meltdown.
