Bangladesh is too small in front of a big USA. But, even then USA is disturbed that BD is trying to build influence in African countries. BD is already exporting more than 80,000 tons of steel products to the african countries and is now trying to purchase raw cotton from the central african countries at the tune of $1 to $2 billion per year.

BD needs african market and raw material in order to survive economically. USA should not make fuss about BD's presence in africa. It should, rather, use its good relationship with BD to foster friendship with some of the african countries.

Thats a open secret. We still have our troops in Kuwait to ensure guaranteed supply of oil. BD import most of the oil from Kuwait and it is because of the troops. By the way UN does not pay for the troops in Kuwait.

I know some BD troops who gets paid their original salary + deployment allowance despite being in Kuwait. UN mission soldiers gets 1000 USD + original salary which they draw from here. I am sure GOB and Kuwaiti govt must have some sorts of arrangement.

No we dont get any quota from USA still we are the 3 biggest textile exporter in USA after China and Vietnam. Pakistan gets trade advantage in USA more than we do still yu are struggling in USA market.
European market is copletely different ball game. Some of our products do get concession with 2 stage processing but most of the product with 1 stage processing does not get any GSP. Even Pakistani products are nowhere near to compete with us (while you have your cotton) in Europe while we import cotton to yarn from China. Pakistanm Uzbekistan and have a target to become no. 1 within 7-10 years.

Its better to shut up if you dont have any knowledge to the subject you talking about.
