Well yeah, I actually mean it's one of the factors and my original statement can sound misleading. China joining the league to trading nations; it's not the sole factor but a factor nonetheless.

Those WTO conditions are painful reforms but beneficial for China in the long term. You don't want to be like India where you avoid painful reforms and take so many years to implement GST.

It is amazing to see how start almost equal and in some cases started ahead by India on GDP per capita and lower population weight, India still left far behind by China in last 20 years. A huge gap has emerged between the two in 2017.
Even the Economic miracle by India is just a mirage.
Pathetic India.
