Actually most of UN ops in Africa tend to use SA vehicles for decades nows; plus BTRs.

Often military equipment of foreign origin is produced under license in the United States — like the South African-designed RG-33 vehicle. The US exports far more than it imports, and it seeks to maintain military independence. Since the Second World War, the weapons industry has been one of the central national security concerns.

Here are some of the military aircraft and vehicles in American service of foreign origin.

The RG-31 Nyala is perhaps the most visible and notable of the military vehicles in the United States Army inventory. The Nyala is a common face of UN peacekeeping missions around the world, being their multi-purpose vehicle of choice.

The RG-31 is mine-resistant and is very versatile and capable of protecting infantry in low-intensity conflicts. The Army is planning to procure some 2,300 of these vehicles. The RG-31 is also used in a range of militaries around the world.

Joining Quad will be equal to political suicide for Awami league in the long run. Any profit from Joining Quad will be Short term for them .

No way BD is joining Quad. Joining Quad means giving direct recognition to Israel as a sovereign state. If the Awami league does that then that will lead to civil disturbance caused by the Islamists.

Which means BA will have the perfect excuse to launch a coup to topple the Awami league. They will enjoy diplomatic support from China and Russia. Islamist parties will also enjoy the support of China and Russia in this endeavor. With USA leaving the Afghanistan soon. USA influence will decrease in the region. China will wield their influence in BD through BA and the Islamists . If the Awami league decides to pursue anti China policy by joining Quad. BA will topple the Awami league and replace them with a Islamists government.

Awami league is not that stupid to make this move. BD joining Quad may clear the road for Islamists to come to power in BD. That is a nightmare and highly undesirable outcome.
