USA not leaving Afghanistan

So when is the first lesson in said humility?

As soon as more body bags start leaving Afghanistan.

Remember that China, Russia and Iran were paying the Taliban to attack US soldiers.

You wanna bet against these nations do that at your own risk.

America isn't only facing Pakistan. It is facing the might of Russia, China and Iran combined.

So we can expect to see a sudden rise in casualties when the lesson is underway. Okay, got it!

LOL isn't that what papa America is trying to avoid by holding talks with the Taliban in the first place?

Oh, that is so right. It must be enough to scare the cowardly Americans, of course. Before they are stuffed into body bags. Then the lesson in humility begins because do not forget that Pakistan has USA by the balls, as you said above. A very serious situation., very suspensefully tense.

You don't sound very reassuring. You know why? It is because even you know that US mission in Afghanistan is about to get worse.

Papa America thinks it can mend ties with Iran and turn the tide in its favor LOL. No amount of nuke deals with Iran is going to save US fate in Afghanistan.

No, I do not know that, but I can see that you are repeating it as a claim many times.

That’s the real danger. Negotiations with one party is hard enough, but if the Iranians, Russians and Chinese start funding and supplying proxies in Afghanistan against Kabul’s forces and foreign forces, this war could enter another level of horror. At which point, what objectives could justify the losses. The Iranian backed Hazara commander’s shoot down of that helicopter should be an indication of how badly this situation could escalate.

It’s best to leave Afghanistan as it is now, and leave out the carrot of aid and international recognition if negotiations continue post-withdrawal.

. .
no kidding!!
every one leave Afghanistan, dead or alive, you choose
It all depends on how long the Afghan forces stand in front of the US soldiers and how well the US soldiers support them. The moment the Kabul forces collapse the American soldiers will be in the front line and will have to make a choice of all in or all out. With increased terrorism in Pakistan, Pakistan will have no choice but to choose sides and engage.

Only way to fight imperialism is with another form of imperialism. Nevertheless, imperialism has become a norm in the recorded history of mankind. We need to embrace it and use it in our favor. Western imperialists won't leave Afghanistan by their own will but they will be forced out by simply a superior one.

While plans are in flux. Looks like contracts for contractor services maybe transferred to the Afghans; specially for the Afghan Air Force.

from today’s conference (from 24:12 onwards but specifically from 26:20; where he answers “over the horizon or in country” but dependent on the security situation on the ground)

although the SecDef clarifies at 39:40; “retrograde all capabilities, contractors fall in that realm, but contractors have the ability to renegotiate contracts if they choose, but we are going to account for all the people and the resources that are working with us”

Perhaps leaving Afghanistan for the most part, but basing nearby in ... 1:58:33 - 1:58:55
“Established agreements to fly our US air assets from neighboring countries, like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, or others to provide the Afghans with possible air support they may need.”

If I’m guessing this is probably K2, Manas, and Mary 2 Air Force bases.

Also, based on the questions the senators are asking, the US withdrawal seems like a “pause” before special forces go back in, to back up a reconstituted Northern Alliance. Probably within a year of a pullout or just after, probably based on congressional pressure after the 2022 elections. If there going to be a new status quo before the change in congres, it will probably have to be established and secured in the next 12-18 months.

its because the Americans can not except it. that the Pakistanis are going to benefit Americans leaving region

so we are now back to square one again. because Americans have no one to step in when they leave to continue there anti Pakistan activities. In helping india & iran against us.so the war goes on
