The U.S. Army Operational Test Headquarters has already begun testing the latest version of the Bradley fighter vehicle family, the M2A4. The Bradley M2A4 trials are being conducted at the Third Cavalry Regiment of the U.S. Army Cavalry Division at the Fort Hood military base in Texas.

The upgraded version of the Bradley vehicle was developed by BAE Systems in a contract with the U.S. Army as part of the Army's combat vehicle modernization strategy and helps ensure the readiness of Armored Brigade (ABCT) combat teams.

The change in the A4 series includes the installation of a new 8-cylinder Cummins VTA903E-T675 diesel engine with a capacity of 675 horsepower, a new hydraulic box HMPT-800-3ECB, which will allow the M2A4 Bradley to install the spur arrow system developed by the Israeli company Elbit Systems.
