US to shut down Chinese companies if they aid Russia : US Commerce Sec.

The list of American companies involved in manufacturing in China is very long as well.

This should be common knowledge.
not like they can move those assets like buildings and capital equipment out of China. they'll be forced to abandon the assets.

the reality is that even sanctions on Russia have an incredibly harmful effect on the rest of the world with nickel, oil, gas, wheat, fertilizer, etc. prices skyrocketing. China is on a different level than Russia.

And you think China will take it lying down?

Do you really think China will forego her long term Oil and Gas deals with Russia?

USA is applying pressure on other countries to respect sanctions imposed on Russia.

China might suspend some activities to placate USA for a while but I cannot be sure about to what extent.

If Putin finds a political solution for Ukraine then he can soothe tempers.

Not only companies but US companies like Apple, Tesla etc. will lose the Chinese market too.

US is clearly bluffing.

USA is applying pressure on other countries to respect sanctions imposed on Russia.

These are NATO sanctions not UN sanctions. So China has no obligation.

Crippling sanctions imposed on Russia will have global implications and effects. I am absolutely aware.

USA is applying pressure on other countries to respect sanctions imposed on Russia. China can continue to trade with other countries if not Russia. China is more likely to be concerned about its own economic outlook in the end. If Putin finds a political solution for Ukraine then he can soothe tempers. Let us see.

don't speak for Chinese people please. we know where our interests lie. if you look at Chinese social media and sales of Russian products in China, you'd understand.

China have significant trade relations with NATO member states - much bigger portfolio than Russia in fact.

Why are you so worked up over this? Calm down and relax.

Two Chinese banks are respecting sanctions already. I have posted relevant information above.

There is much rhetoric on PDF and then there are ground realities out there. Let us see.

WTF .... inflation is upppppppppppp like crazy ... stop this nonsense ...

Gas prices slowly increasing. These bastards have gone crazy.

Imagine if the Chinese want some of their oustanding balance/debt paid off. These guys are going to burn themselves playing with fire. But Chinese are smart and never want to cease trade and lending money. They are figuratively giving the whites opium to keep them enslaved financially.

Micron has essentially stopped production in China, and hiring like crazy in US. Good for Americans to have high tech jobs in USA for a change.

Micron? A company eliminated by the Chinese market.

Since 2018, micron's operating revenue in the Chinese market has been declining, and more than 50% of its core scientific research team has been poached by other Chinese companies. This is also the reason why micron needs to provide favorable conditions and try to retain researchers when leaving China.

Huawei is a nobody compared to what it was 3-4 years ago
Huawei's revenue in the first quarter of 2021 was 634 billion CNY ($101.3 billion), while Apple's revenue in the same period was $1239 and Tesla's revenue was $17.7 billion.
Huawei is a nobody compared? Huawei is not a listed company, and the US govt dare not tell you the current situation of Huawei. That's why you think Huawei is a nobody compared.

Everything that fails to defeat you will make you strong. <Friedrich William Nietzsche>

If USA fails to kill Huawei, the world will remember that Huawei is the first company to beat USA. Huawei will be stronger in the future.

The US turned Huawei into an afterthought globally. It’s also humiliating Russia now and sending it back into the Stone Age.

You want to be humiliated next?
Hahahha Huawei made 90 bil last year. Brazil and Turkey, South American, Africa Mid East are using our products. Stop being an imperialist and play fair
