The fact is that all these rules are followed by USCIS. Its only uninformed ppl who get fooled by such announcements. All that trump says is about existing rules, any new rule would require to be passed by senate. Please ignore Pakistanis complaining about H-1Bs or Indians doing this or doing that. It's just a product of jealousy. Sure standards for H-1B visas should be tightened, but India will still get the lion's share. So no worries.
Offlate, most of the Indian companies have stopped hiring or depending on H1B visas for their clients...So they are very well poised to handle such situation of hiring resources who are local people....And the only people who will suffer is kids who are spending lot of money in MS course in US in average US universities..If they can not get job out of campuse, then it will be tough for them to get into US job market...
Don't you think they will now have better chance of getting jobs in US??
Out of all the MS candidates that comes to US for pursuing MS, 70% are less than average student...It is just a matter of they can not compete in Indian entrance exams and they prefer shortcut to US average universities which is easier to get if someones parent has money to afford it....
So it is not like whoever is doing MS are brilliant special students rather, who ever is doing MS in ivy league college in US are the best kids who should be rewarded..Otherwise, MS or MBA from other US universities are nothing but simillar to studying in Pvt MBA college in India...
Now, due to restriction, these kids who are pursing MS from average US college, find it extremely difficult to get a job..
