US: the ally from hell

Interesting thing is Pakistan and U.S.A interests are mostly same. Both country ally formation is in the interest of both U.S.A and Pakistan as well. Some Ups and downs in relation but have a good future. Infect some serious downs in the relation in recent months, but still have good potential for better relation.

You must be joking. Today in 2012, U.S. and India have the same interests. Pakistan and U.S. had the same interests in 1980's to kick the Soviets out from Afghanistan, not today in 2012.

India is Pakistan's enemy and India is in Pakistan's western border, Pakistan is surrounded by the enemy on both sides today like in 1979 when Soviets invaded Afghanistan. China and Pakistan have the same interests in 2012. U.S. is more than happy that India is in Afghanistan.

What exactly is that you find so confusing? Its really funny how Indians see the confusion in matters that do not relate them directly.

India is USA's friend . Being a friend does not mean you have to agree with everything your friend wants you to do . Forget it you wont undertsand .

Before making such a bold statement, you do realize that in the world of politics and international arena, there are no permanent friends just permanent interests. India and the US of A are close due to similar interests but lately those interests have started to collide. Do you disagree?
