US Strategy Pushes Russia, China to Create Joint Missile Defense System

China and Russia as STRATEGIC PARTNERS especially in military will be foremost the most important aspect of history in the making today although NOT by design initially.
China and Russia will complement each others e.g. Russia now supply the gas energy needs of China, China will help Russia obsolescent industries to modernize, etc.

With the collapse of Europe USA if she wants to maintain her superiority role, she has little or NO option but to fall back into the fold of China and Russia as the principle partners instead of sticking it out as rivals.

The sooner the better, USA has to realised that she is NO LONGER the sole superpower around and her allies are all dropping out like autumn leaves.

Given a change Russia will like to better relations/trade with US and Europe, unlike China whose interests are logger heads with the west.

Russia already spend over 40 years thinking their future was in Europe.

It's unfortunate they took such a long time to figure out that neither Europe nor United States wants them. Unless of course only as a junior partner.

Indeed, take Gorbachev perestroika as example Russian leaders though to earn western some favor by open themselves up and comply to western demand but instead something in return, not only the west gradually dismantle Soviet empire but adding eastern Europe membership into NATO but promote the color revolution, Russian still remember how miserable life they had to endure by ligne up to get food and completely ruin Russia economy.

But it's laughable when Westerner commentators said that Russia don't trust China but they forgot that it was West that has brought the fall of Soviet empire not China, not only Eastern Europe but all central Asian countries were fragmented from Soviet and that Russia was suffering the most .
