US soldier gets 24 years for murders of 3 Afghans

Don't expect justice from Roman Empire - life of peasents mean nothing to residents of Roman Empire -

100 citizens = 1 peasent , and that is how things are in world

What about 1 suicide bomber = dozens of innocent civilians? Are those innocent lives cheap?

What about killing people in the name of religion in broad day light and walking scotfree, evoking the dreaded, abused blasphemy laws?

What about killing women and walking free in the name of 'honor'?

Does anyone take responsibility for these actions and repent? Does justice catch up with them?

Spare us the pontificating...Nobody's really interested in your high horse routine. People are well aware of injustices and don't need to hear or read from a kisser...

The violations of conduct by some US and NATO troops is a separate matter. No need to drag in every little injustice one can muster up, because it does nothing.

There is a saying, to be "more Catholic than the Pope"... or in this case "more American than Americans", all to demonstrate to those around you that you are a model immigrant.

You cannot differentiate between what is "considered the norm" and what are aberrant instances, do ya?

Oh, so mindless killing in the name of religion doesnt bother you, but criminal acts do? Religious killers, honor killers, human rights abusers going scotfree doesnt bother you, but criminals being brought to justice paints the whole community as arrogant criminals? Pointing that out make me 'more catholic than the Pope'? Yeah, right!

I honestly pity you. Insult me all you want but I really do feel sorry for you. Honestly.

In actuality many decent educated open minded sensible Americans disapprove the "war crimes" and killings against innocent civilians and wouldn't try to defend them by brining up other injustices perpetrated by various groups...So as far as "more American than the Americans" well in my opinion many Americans wouldn't even take the stance someone here is taking on this particular case.

So perhaps being "more bhagharat than the bhagharato" would be better suited here for that particular ind...lol

CS, a word, if I may. I like your posts and your povs, though they might be different from mine. But what I dont like is your hair-trigger racism sensitivity. If I were you, I would give benefit of doubt to others and keep a little more open mind. I have been at the receiving end of a few racist barbs, but either spoken out or learnt to ignore it.

I have in no way, whatsoever defended the murderers. I am actually surprised at the apparently light sentence which that douche got, but hey, loopholes in the justice system! Atleast he's paying for his crime. That is what I am defending.

I understand, I went to elementary school and middle school in America, I made many good friends who respected me for who I am. My beef is with these 'asskisses' as you say, who with little to no self-respect feels it more gratifying to adapt the extremes of American society because that section is more anti-Muslim and more anti-China.

God help thy people for I am weak. Lol!
