Just because I happen to like the Iranian people and culture in general does not mean that I will support every one of the Iranian government's policies and actions. Just as much as the warming relations between India and KSA does not mean that I support every Saudi move..aiding the Taliban to ensure that Af did not enter the Iranian sphere of influence for eg.

Whatever right Assad had over Syria..he gave up that right when he started using Sarin. The Hezbollah is just as radical and violent as the Qaeda groups in FSA...active Hezbo involvement has turned this into a full scale sectarian war. Now there will be Shias and Sunnis both dying in reprisal attacks. Is there something in this situation which is worth supporting?
