US not coming to PH aid vs China

I know the Chinese government trying to: 1. Control the SC Sea. 2. Drill oil. 3. Block their supply ships. 4. The people on the islands can choose to leave or to hungry to die. 5. Take the islands back without a single bullet.

Sounds good. But nobody know how long it will take, nobody know if it will success because there are too many variables.

Take the islands back now by force is the best way.

Do it now before too late. Stupid officials!
U r dreaming in the morning :coffee:

^^^
Yeah, they seem to think the PLA will be going on jungle patrol looking for tunnels like the Americans.
China will attack the Viet power plants with cruise missile and cyber attacks. The Viet economy will collapse in 45 days.

45 HOURS seems more like it.

Having S-300 batteries and AWACS patrolling near the border would allow us shoot down any Vietnamese planes and missiles upon launch in Vietnamese airspace.

USA seems Not interest coz:
1.They allows Vn to Enrich uranium, that can make Nuke boom.

2.Those Island simply too small to defend, Vn can blow away with boom and missle.^^

So, China just simply can not control the whole island, and Vn now strong enought to defend our sovereignty.^^

Tell your people, don't push your Gov into the deep hole, it's just impossible to control all of islands.^^

our aircrafts still fly from Da Nang base to Spratly Islands every day, S-300 from Hai Nan base will take long time to reach the target. at that time, our air crafts fly out of the range already bro .^^

The Vietnamese AF resembles the PLAAF in the 80's. A mix of old MiGs and newer russian imports. This familiarity should give the PLAAF a significant handsup in terms of planning an attack and predicting system responses.

Before any of your nuke pipe dream come true, Vietnam would be bombed into stone age, not by China but by the US. Google non-proliferation and get educated.

The US wants the Cam Ranh Bay.

With the historic visit of US destroyer USS John McCain to Danang port of Vietnam on August 11, 2010, a new chapter in the bilateral relations between these erstwhile adversaries has been written. Earlier on August 8, USS George Washington, America’s largest aircraft carrier docked in the same port before steaming off to South Korea.

We would simply shoot 100 LCMBs per day into Hanoi and destroy every single military base of yours with conventional DF missiles till you stop sending your tiny army to back up your absurd claim of the SCS. Any Viet pilot that will attempt to retaliate would be shot down before even entering Chinese airspace.

Who would want to march into Vietnam soil in the age of surgical strike? Missiles will bring you down to your knees.

US, Philippines to hold war games amid tension in South China Sea

The United States and the Philippines are set to hold naval exercise amid heightened tension in Western Philippine Sea following allegations of intrusion by Chinese Naval personnel in the Philippine-occupied area of the disputed Spratly Islands.....

The report said, "The planned naval exercise, called “Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training” or CARAT, is in accordance with the Mutual Defense Treaty between the Philippines and the US, officials said."
The Philippines said it is preparing a diplomatic protest to the United Nations on the alleged intrusion by China's naval boats in the disputed islands.

A day after the exchange of heated diplomatic notes in Manila, Vietnam has joined the already tense situation by accusing China of their presence in a Vietnam-occupied island where a seismic operation is being conducted. Vietnam claims a Chinese naval boat has caused damage to their seismic equipment and facilities in the area.
Vietnam, in an apparent move to flex its muscle on the disputed sea lanes said it will conduct a live ammunition drill in the area on Monday. The planned military exercise by Vietnam is similar to the scheduled US-Philippine war games in the West Philippine Sea on June 28.

The Spratly Islands are being claimed in whole or in part by several countries in Southeast Asia including China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei and the Philippines.

For its part, the US has been alarmed by the harassment meted out to the USS Impeccable by the Chinese in 2009 and has been scouting for possible partners in the region. US Secretary of States’ proclamation in July 2009 during the ARF summit in Thailand about US returning to Southeast Asia was seen as a confidence restoring gesture among US partners in the region. This was followed up by the clear signal that Hillary Clinton gave at the ARF summit in Vietnam in 2010 when she said that the South China Sea is a global commons and China should settle sovereignty issues with contending nations. Many see this as a ploy to placate Vietnam. Vietnam occupies the maximum number of islands in the Spratlys island chain in South China Sea. Clinton’s statement was the harshest snub to China in recent times. But it is still to be seen whether these gestures and statements have any effect on the Vietnamese Communist party and the military brass.

You really think the current Vietnamese regime could put their minds at rest on the hostile US on Vietnamese soil?

The US did not occupied Viet Nam.

Why South Vietnam and North Vietnam were at war.
Did you know that China was in Viet Nam long before the US came into South Viet Nam? China was in North Viet Nam stirring up troubles among the Vietnamese within a few years after WW II ended.

"US not coming to PH aid vs China

The United States yesterday said it will not side with any party in the Spratlys conflict, which is to say that the Philippines’ most powerful ally will not be coming to its aid should its spat with China escalate into a shooting war.

The US Embassy made this clear yesterday in reaction to a Malacañang statement earlier yesterday expressing confidence that Washington would honor its commitment under the two countries’ Mutual Defense Treaty to come to the aid of a beleaguered ally.

“The US does not take sides in regional territorial disputes,” the US press attaché Rebecca Thompson said in an e-mailed statement when contacted for comment to deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte’s invoking of the 60-year-old MDT."

LOL!

But some Vietnamese thought they got adopted by a new Papa!

Haha..haha..
